Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thank you for checking out my profile! Hmm, let me figure out the
easiest way to sum up who I am...
I like to consider myself conglomerate. I suppose a list is the
best way to define that:
-athletic: I've played a bunch of different sports, and also try to
keep fit in the gym
-geeky: it comes with the territory of being a software
-witty: though maybe not so much on here, but in a conversation, I
can lay it on thick
-handy: the house I purchased has been my major hobby, and somewhat
of an obsession. I love flipping it!
-artistic: I draw, paint, and build. Though I don't draw and paint
as often as I used to, my latest passion as been designing new
features for my home
-musically fluent: I'll admit it now... I do tap on things quite a
bit. But, that's what happens when you're a drummer
I believe in:
-chivalry: it definitely isn't dead
-science: I do respect all religions, but I feel believe in
-chocolate and peanut butter
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a software developer for my career, but it doesn't define me. I
go out with friends, renovate my home, and always up for anything
(if I'm not busy with my house). If you think I follow the typical
stereotype of playing video games and sitting on a computer all the
time, you're highly mistaken. I rarely touch my computer after
work. I am a very goal-oriented person. I want to accomplish big
things in life. Are you ready for the ride?
I'm looking to do more traveling. I've recently finally made my way
out to Vegas, and I loved every minute of it! Most people say they
have enough of the place after a few days, but I didn't want to
leave. It was my first time out West, as well, but certainly not my
Spring is finally showing it's face after this past crazy winter.
This means it's time to hit the links (aka golfing season)! It's
almost time for sand volleyball, too! I can be found jogging around
in the Metroparks, as long as my sense of adventure doesn't detour
me from the path.
I love to find new places to eat in the Cleveland area -- it has
become such a food town! It doesn't matter what type of food the
place as to offer -- if it's a place I haven't been, I want to try
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Where to start....
I'm very handy -- home renovations here I come!
Athletics (CrossFit, Golf, Volleyball, Tennis) -- (formally played
Football and Rugby).
Art (Realism -- Prisma Colored Pencils on black paper, water color,
oil painting, pencil sketching). If you'd like to have a taste of
my work, check this out: http://whatthehelms.deviantart.com

work with a lot of other mediums though.
Music: I'm a drummer. I'm not in a band anymore, but I still try to
keep my skills up to par. Lately, I'm into covering Lamb Of God,
Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders, Chimp Spanner, Blotted Science,
Periphery, Pantera, and many others. It's ridiculously fun, and I'm
willing to teach!
I'm also a very good listener and problem solver. My friends always
come to me for advice.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Possibly that my beard is actually red. Yes, I'm part ginger
(day-walker, however you want to reference it), but that means I
walk in both planes.

Movies: Spaceballs, Caddyshack, Van Wilder, Good Will Hunting,
Shawshank Redemption, Oceans Eleven, Rounders, 21, Iron Man,
Sherlock Holmes, Batman (the newest ones), and many others
Shows: I guess I can summarize this by listing networks: ESPN, DIY,
the movie channels
Music: Metal and Progressive Rock, Pop, Orchestral, Rap,
Food: I'll make this easy -- I'm not a big fan of olives, but they
don't stop me from trying anything!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I have a survival of the fittest mentality, which means if I lost
everything, I could make do. But if I had to choose:
1) A powerful computer for development
2) A great steak that I'll cook on the grill
3) A way to view the weather forecast for the next 10 days
5) Chocolate/Peanut Butter (or the mix)
6) My ability to talk and get along with just about anyone that
comes across my path
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
just about everything. My mind is a freakin' machine, and doesn't
turn off sometimes. It can be quite irritating to me at times,
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical Friday night for me. Is there really for
I suppose I could answer this more with what I would rather be
doing? I feel my bar days are falling behind me. If I go out, I'd
rather grab a couple drinks and have some laughs with the people I
care about most. Afterward, settle down, enjoy a movie (I'm down
for some cuddle time), then call it a night. That sounds pretty
good, I think.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No matter what happens, I'll always be a diehard Browns fan!

Anything I've said strikes your fancy. I'm definitely a crazy mix
of nerd/geek/athlete/artist/musician/home renovator, amongst many
other things, so if you think you have a similar personality, I'm
completely down with it! I'm always willing to meet up -- I feel
meeting face-to-face is much better than anything on here. Whether
a meetup is at a dive bar, a coffee shop, a fancy restaurant, an
Indians/Browns/Cavs game, or really, any place, it'll be
I end with this: I'm looking for someone who has the ability to
challenge me, and I'll provide the same. Should we be opposites?
Should we be identical? A great mixture of those both in all areas
of life would be ideal. Could you become my best friend? Would you
like to take a chance, an adventure, and find out?
