My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm very easy going and laid back. I like spending time with my friends, watching movies, and curling up by a campfire. I am bilingual (I speak French fluently).

My current hobby is antique clock repair (I love antiques). I like exotic/ethnic foods (Thai, Lebanese, Indian, etc). My tastes in music cover a wide range, but I especially like trance, dance, new age, and pop. Same goes for movies (Adventure, Horror, Action, Comedy).

I'm looking for someone who's around the same age, preferably non-smoking and drug free. I'm not interested in one night stands.

I've got my life pretty much on track: I have a stable job that I like, I own my own home (a work in progress), and I'm looking for a partner to share my life with. I would love to travel, and I enjoy long walks and hiking.

If you want to send me a quick message, try to write a bit more than just "hi".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working for a local upholstery shop, and really enjoying this new trade.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing things, and anything to do with making something by hand (furniture, art, restoration/repair, etc).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I don't read many books, and I don't really watch much TV (I haven't had cable since 2003-ish). But I do like to watch a handful of TV shows like: Supernatural, Bones, True Blood, Fringe, Glee, Doctor Who, etc. And I love movies. A few of my top favourites would include: Sherlock Holmes, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Fall, Tron, The Phantom of the Opera, Stargate, etc.

When it comes to music, I have varied tastes, but I gravitate towards new age (Enigma, Delerium, Conjure One), I also like a lot of Trance/Dance/House, but I like other music like rock/pop/indie (Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Theory of a Deadman, CAKE, Foster the People). I'll also listen to some classical, classical guitar, harpsichord, and carillon (Bonus point if you know what those are).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My camera. I fancy myself as an amateur photographer, and on average, I'll take something like 5000+ photos a year.
2. Friends. I have a pretty good group of close friends, and I often wonder what I'd do without them.
3. Family.
4. Internet. Need I say more?
5. A watch. I compulsively check it, and I hate being w/o it.
6. Ummm this is hard. Glasses?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Having a boyfriend.
Finishing the renovations on my house.
Projects (clocks, cabinets, etc)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not usually doing much. My usual "night out with friends" is generally on Sat night, and we usually hang out (talk), watch a movie, or go to a bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to be really overweight (around grade 5 to 8), and I'm still a bit self conscious because of it.
