Well, to my own personal dissatisfaction I am not a rock star. Although, I’ve wanted to have this as a screen name / identifier for something since the beginning of the myspace era when you could pick your own URL. So in that sense ok cupid is kind of a dream come true.

I did play piano for 5 + years and violin for a bit as well. Granted most of this was in elementary school so I highly doubt it will catapult me to rock star status. But, I figure I’m only 26 so I’ve still got time.

As for the rest of my self-summary I’m looking to retire as soon as possible and working towards making that happen.

Well, as I get older and seriously have to consider this question and what I’m actually doing with my life, I’ve found I’m drawn more and more to my daily horoscope for guidance and insight and just plain excitement. Over the past two months it's hit me that coffee is no longer the best part of waking up. It’s my very own personalized 2-3 sentence daily forecast as to what big event is going to happen that gets me about of bed.

It’s true my horoscope only comes close to the mark about 50% of the time. Let’s be serious, probably less. Which means it’s missing the mark more than 50% of the time. So it gives less luck/insight to my life than flipping a coin but this is all overlooked because thinking that a long lost friend is going to re-enter my life (probably via facebook, although horoscopes seldom give that much detail) can keep me going most of the day.

Lately I find myself reading loved ones horoscopes and wanting to email them the days that sound particularly good to see if they come true.

Then I think that might be a bit much.
