I have a degree in film, which means I'm a big enough film nerd to make it a large part of life. I also like getting inebriated and dancing. Dance parties are the shit.

Movies: Kurosawa, Tarkovsky, Haneke, Malick, Coen Brothers, P.T. Anderson, Almodovar, Madeo (Mother), Tokyo Story, Spirited Away, Baraka, Koyaanisqatsi, Veritgo, Meek's Cutoff (anything by Kelly Reichardt), The Royal Tennenbaums, 8 1/2, Night and Fog (I don't think I can ever watch this again)

Music: Too much to list. Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Elliott Smith, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, CSNY or just Y, Bowie, Talking Heads, Beach House, Boards of Canada, Daft Punk, St Vincent, The Flaming Lips, Grizzly Bear, The Beatles.

Food: I'll try anything. I really love sushi. India, Thai, burgers, driving to the San Gabriel Valley for Szechuan food.
