My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm actually in a relationship now, a very happy one. Sure it's long distance but we love each other so much. She's the bestest.
I'm currently studying counselling at night school and I'm a Support Worker for people with mental health issues after coming out of long term hospitalization.
I always try to be caring and to help people, I'm a socialist and a romantic (both meanings). I used to be a pagan, I'm an atheist now but I've always found religion and mythology fascinating. I like to read and spend time with my friends usually doing a role playing game of some kind. Yes occasionally I get together with friends and pretend to be a vampire or some other supernatural creature over a character sheet, a pile of dice and a lot of unhealthy food.
I love to talk to interesting people, those who are passionate about something or who can teach me something. I also like returning the favour.
One day I'd love to see Machu Pichu and Red Square.
As people always ask yes I don't drink. That doesn't mean I can't have a good time and it doesn't mean I'll have a go at you if you drink. To each their own after all.
I am clever, somewhat random, affectionate, passionate and sweet
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well I work and I live in the Cumbrian town of Barrow as a home carer for the elderly. Also being a revolutionary socialist lots of campaigning against war, for workers rights, anti racism, against homophobia, against the cuts and the rise in student fees and so on. Basically getting very angry with the ConDem government like most other people. Also playing lots of computer games and role playing, usually with Trace_Rift. Alternatively talking about history, literature, politics or other important things with BekahXT
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading, discussion and debate, being passionate and caring, role playing games, history, philosophy, religion, politics, listening, being sweet (when I've had the opportunity), my job and not understanding pop culture references. Oh and giving hugs.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beard or hair I suppose. I guess also my randomness I suppose. Also if I am speaking about something I find interesting or care about then the fact that I am very passionate.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My house (well it does shelter me, it's mine and I like it) 2.My vast role playing book collection 3. My computer 4. something to read 5. My mobile 6. My friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Socialism, role playing, history, religion, anything that interests me really.

Also do bus drivers actually like to be thanked? I started questioning it when I realised that it means they feel pressured to reply to someone who probably hasn't even looked at them and is already walking away.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a friends house role playing or at work. Or playing Cards Against Humanity

I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without being questioned on their motives.
I love bad jokes because I'd rather hear people groan than laugh. Here's one for you:
The designers of the Pentagon were originally going to give it eight sides but they kept cutting corners.
Also that I eat mars bar pizzas, sometimes with bacon and pineapple.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Well for starters it's against OkCupid's terms and conditions not to message me :-)
But seriously I love talking to interesting people so feel free to message me about anything at all.
If you want to message me but aren't sure what to say then why not start by telling me the last book you read.
