My self-summary
I took a test on here that declared me to be a Guido. If that positively affects your view of me, I don't think it's going to work out.

Born in California, going back someday. I'm always learning to do something new - most recently, Python (for work) and shooting medium format film. I started brewing beer last year and I'm getting pretty good at it - I really like craft beer, too, and am always looking to try something new. I've been recording a beer podcast with a few friends, but we haven't published any episodes yet because we're consistently slurring our words by the end... whoops!

I always have a camera with me, except of course when I wind up in a place I would really love to photograph. It's definitely my longest-lasting hobby, and I am super happy that it's getting nice outside again so I can spend more time shooting.
What I’m doing with my life
I mostly take pictures, make beer, and go to luxury car dealerships and pretend I'm going to buy a German sport coupe.

Besides that, I'm working as a data analyst for a tech startup in Greenwich. Working for a small company is liberating!
I’m really good at
Disc golf
Edward Fortyhands
Cards Against Humanity
Fixing anything
Hopping fences
Teaching people to drive stick
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm left-handed. This utterly fascinates some people. It's like they're seeing a unicorn. Other than that, it's usually my eyes or hair, which ironically is the same response most girls on this site have to this question. So it goes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Fahrenheit 451, THGTTG, Brave New World, Island. A lot of sci-fi - Heinlein, Bradbury, Asimov, Clarke, Sagan. Oh, and definitely Vonnegut.

Mad Men, Louie, How It's Made, Archer, Lost, Family Guy, The Killing, Bob's Burgers, Kroll Show. True Detective changed my life.

Star Slinger, Purity Ring, The Notorious B.I.G., Steely Dan, You Won't, Led Zeppelin, A Tribe Called Quest, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Tallest Man on Earth, Toro y Moi, Yeasayer, Radiohead, The Knife, Nujabes, Active Child, Chance the Rapper, CHVRCHES, Ta-Ku, Baths, Flume, Classixx, Wild Nothing, J Dilla, Why?, Blood Orange, RAC, Sticky Fingers, Mux Mool, Sleigh Bells
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How something would look in a viewfinder.
On a typical Friday night I am
Moonlight kayaking, learning the theremin, stargazing, brewing, romanticising travel by rail, getting overserved.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I seriously did go to space camp, and I have a hollowed out book in which I hide my space travel fund.
