My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If nothing else, there are three main things you have to know about me:
I don't text or message first (almost ever). Closest thing I'll do on this site is rate you high, as Cupid sends you a message saying I did so.
I won't date over weight guys, because I'm not attracted to them. For me, attraction/passion has to be there in a relationship (sexual or otherwise) and if it's not there, I'm not going to bother.

I've got a lot of data about myself on this site. Probably too much to be exciting if we met in person. Please read some of the information on here before you message me. I'd hate to have to ignore/reject you because you neglected to notice I have no problems with homosexuality (and would NEVER be involved with someone who thought it was immoral.)

I often take a long hiatus from this site, for one reason or another so I apologize if I am extremely late in messaging you back

And that last picture, with the face paint, corset and boots, is not just a halloween thing. I'm not very into fashion, but I love goth/punk clothing.
More later.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've finished round one of college after earning a bachelors in Biology (minors in History and Chemistry), and hopefully going to be starting round two next spring semester, trying for a Masters in Nursing.
Currently, I have a job, my own place and my own car. I spend a lot of my free time on the computer playing video games (though I love console games as well), or writing. I hope to find a gym soon that I can work out at, preferably do some swimming every morning before work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have many skills, but I wouldn't say I'm great at judging how talented I am at them. I can sing, dance, write, play video games-all decently. I'm a good swimmer-I love the water.
After some time, I've come to accept that I'm a fast learner at most things (snow boarding would not be one of them however >.>)

I'm pretty good at understanding/empathizing with people and their actions, but horrible in helping them change. I'm good at thinking actions through and weighing the consequences; I'm great at pushing myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People usually tell me that I seem really soft spoken and sweet. They usually haven't seen me outside of any kind of professional situation. Not to say that I'm not sweet, but I'm also very hyper and crazy at times. Sometimes I come off as cold or arrogant because I can be shy in social situations, but that's also not true.

Oh...and I guess they notice my hair, and my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I like anything sci-fi and fantasy, and some mystery books, but it's been a while since I cracked open a new book that wasn't a text book. While text books can be incredibly entertaining, they're not really something I can often bring up in everyday conversation without sounding extremely pretentious. I'm really picky about storylines and characters and such when it comes to fiction however..
Some of my favorite series are LOTR, Harry Potter, the Gatos series, anything by Tamora Pierce or Piers Antony. The Eregon series isn't bad. The Blue Sword and its prequel. The Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander.

Movies: Almost anything purely action/adventure/sci-fi/fantasy/comedy. I love comic book movies. Also, I love horror movies, but mostly the supernatural kind, not the gore kind (Saw). I absolutely love Zoolander, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Star Wars, etc.

TV Shows: Stargate SG-1, Monk, X-files, Alphas, Bones, NCIS, South Park, The Daily Show, House, Eureka, the Office, Star Trek (original, TNG, DS9), Ghost Hunters.
Sometimes I enjoy watching old TV shows from childhood: DBZ, TMNT(old and new)

Music: I like many different types of music, but I prefer something that is mostly not screaming and has a lead singer that can actually sing. Some of my favorites at the moment are AFI, BVB, Blaqk Audio, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Journey, PatD!, 3 Doors Down, Cage9, Boston, Chicago, Disturbed, I Am Ghost, Megadeath, Iron Maiden, John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Linkin Park, Matchbox Twenty, Michael Jackson, Michael Buble, Neurosonic, MCR, Papa Roach, the Police, the Rasmus, Styx, Three Days Grace, Van Halen, many motown artists, and lots of single songs from different artists

Food: Dairy, American, Italian food, Mexican, Japanese(Hibachi!)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music in any form
Trees/nature/mountains
Cheese/Milk/comfort food
a written language
at least one close friend
Water-preferably large bodies of it
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about life, about reality and morality. I tend to think up ideas that seem really clever and philosophical in my head, but probably aren't really that way.
For example:
Everyone loves to think about themselves or others as either complex or simple. But I think, in reality, everyone is both complex and simple, just in different aspects of life. Sometimes I feel like someone could understand me completely after listening to a handful of songs I love. That seems really simple, but in reality, though I feel that way it would probably never be the case for many reasons.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately, I've been working the closing shift, but even so I enjoy a night out on the town. On any given night out, I like to dance, but I don't dance like 'normal' people(I hate using the word normal when describing people). I like to have the occasional drink, but I'm usually driving (so I don't). I also enjoy 'in home' parties, with drinking games, movies, music, video games and just hanging out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That if you ask me, I'll probably answer. Most people just usually don't bother to ask. I'm an open book.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're curious and you bothered to read some of my profile/the questions I've answered.
Or if I rated you, and you're curious about me.

This is where I have to be a bit of a bitch. Some things I request you DON'T message me for/about.

I am not "DtF"
Especially if you're text-speaking me, I'm not down to immediately seeing you and sleeping with you. As much as I'm cool with some no strings attached fun, there's a stronger chance of me seeing you and thinking, 'never gonna happen' than not. This is because, as you'll see later, I'm extremely shallow in my own way(deservingly or not, it is how I am).

If I don't message you back, there are two main reasons....
25% I'd actually be interested in you, but I'm too busy with life, or taking a break from this site.
75% I'm just not attracted to you. At all. And to be honest, it's probably because you're over weight or simply not my type. As I've answered in my questions, I don't date overweight people (and as I've said above, I'm shallow.)

I will not sext or cyber.
It's not my thing, I don't like it. Stop asking.

I won't respond if you don't have a picture.
I understand if you have a job and you're not allowed to--for the life of me at this point I can't exactly think of a profession that would require that kind of secrecy but I don't know everything either. However, when you say you're trying to be discreet, the first thing I think is, 'you're married and you don't want me to know'. Again, if you've read anything about me, I'm not interested in talking to someone who is married/seeing someone. And PLEASE don't send me some bullshit about not being able to upload a picture. If you really wanted to be open and show me a picture, you could take one from an image hosting site like photobucket and link it. It's really not that hard.

Finally, If you're a serious (or somewhat serious) Christian, or heavily religious, don't bother. I'm sure you're nice enough, I've met a lot of religious people who are. But I can almost guarantee that not too long into meeting, I'll offend you, or get pissed with you or similar. That goes for casual sex too, I have to at least like a bit to sleep with you.
