This is where I describe myself, hmm. I would call myself humble,
honest, responsible and dare I say funny. I love to laugh at others
and myself as well. Sounds good, but perfect? Oh, far from it. I
have this human condition where I sometimes make...mistakes. You
can call me a spiritual person who has a deep faith in my belief
system. There is something out there much bigger than me.
Integrity, hard work, and loyalty are things that are very
important to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Most of my time is with my position in sales and purchasing for a
small company and honestly enjoy going to work every day. I do
regret departing from college prior to graduating but fate dealt me
a great job. I also have a part-time gig for a professional sports
team in town and I really love that job too. My spare time is spent
going out with friends, watching my nephew play hockey, spending
time with my family, love going to concerts, movies, comedy clubs
and am open to trying new things with new people. In fact, I am
willing to try just about anything once. I enjoy planning for the
future and achieving goals. Golfing is a passion as well, been
playing since pops took me out when I was 8. I take several long
walks along the river and run stairs at the local hockey ring
regularly. I quit smoking cigs in 2010, but in full disclosure I
will have a cigar every once and a while.
I’m really good at
treating people well and finding silver linings. I also fancy
myself excellent on the grill, a real charcoal grill.
The first things people usually notice about me
I would have to go with the smile & wit like most everyone
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
-most recent book - "Still Standing" by American Patriot John
Kriesel (we are the land of the free because of the brave)
-music - zeppelin - foo fighters - skynyrd - stones - tool - allman
brothers - U2 - AC/DC - depends on the situation. If I was working
out it might be Metallica - if I was cleaning the house it might be
the Beatles - I will listen to just about anything depending on the
mood. Favorite songs as of now - Watching the Wheels by John Lennon
& Magic Power by Triumph. These are my go-to when I am down.
You should check them out too!
-movies - the godfather - shawshenk redemption - dumb and dumber -
caddyshack - forrest gump - silence of the lambs (it rubs lotion on
the skin - creepy!!!!)
-food - for the most part I will eat just about anything (or at
least try it). I guess my favorite meal would consist of a salad
and a ribeye or filet on the grill complimented with asparagus. In
fact, try this out ladies; preheat your oven on to 350 - lightly
coat the asparagus with olive oil - worcestershire sauce and salt
and pepper. Cook on tin foil for 6 minutes, roll the asparagus over
and cook for an additional 6 minutes. Once this is done lightly
sprinkle with parmesan cheese - it is delightful.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Will the purple ever win the damn Super Bowl? Why don't women ask
out guys more often? Why are horrible drivers usually in a minivan?
You know, pretty normal stuff.......
On a typical Friday night I am
out with my buds or working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cannot iron so I use my clothesline. I can type really fast.
You should message me if
like what you read and are interested in going out and having a
good time - enjoy some laughter and hopefully some witty banter. If
it leads to something great, if not hopefully the coffee or food is
