My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Im a really easy going, down to earth kind of guy. Mature for my age, and driven toward to own personal goals, and typically don't settle for less than the full potential of me. Im not like most of the other guys you'll meet.
I'm a guy full of contrasts. I love nature, and all the wonderous things she can do, but I also like big ole heavy machinery and the thought that humans (derived from nature) can make what we do with what we have been given (material and our minds)
I am a rather spiritual guy (reading up on different religions and eastern and western thought, mostly eastern though) But I love the philosophy of Ayn Rand and the thought that nothing is higher than your own mind.
I'm have very heavy hippie tendencies, but love to go to work in the morning and meet my aspirations (not to say that hippies don't)
I can appreciate the form of another guy's motorcycle, but do not care to hear it over the crickets at night
I like to eat healthy, usually mostly raw fruits and veggies (YUM) but have been know to enjoy a nice burger from time to time.
But because of these internal contrasts/ conflicts within me, I think it allows to me see and understand all sides of the story around me. Therefore, I don't get to angry or easily offended by others people's actions or thoughts. And I like that about me. Don't get me wrong, I definitely know how and when to stand up for myself, but also know when to let things float on by.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working.... a bunch. But I love my job, so its okay. I like to think the the hard work and struggle that I deal with now will make things easier in the future. So far I've been right. I have some goals (financial and personal) that I'm working on right now, and me working is (obviously) the way to meet all the financial goals as well as some of the personal ones
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing others' side to their story, and using that ability to avoid conflict.
Thinking about and learning to understand mechanical things (which I enjoy very much)
Learning new things that are of interest to me
Making up incredibly stupid jokes at odd times. For example, while recently visiting my grandpa in the hospital, I came up with this: Did you hear about the sick hospital faculty? After half the employees showed up for work, the hospital administrators determined they had a major STAFF infection! ha. ha. ha.
Or this one:
What do you call appetizers at a brothel?
whore dourves!!!
Seriously, if a guy can get paid to write laffy taffy jokes, I could be a millionaire.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I dunno..... you tell me

But here are some obvious ones:
I'm not wearing skinny jeans
I'm not wearing a flat brimmed ball cap
I have no pics of me flashing 'deuces' or a duck face
I have a periodically unkept goatee in leiu of chin straps or pencil-stache
I do not speak in text language
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Atlas Shrugged or anything by Ayn Rand, Be here Now, The Rum Diaries, The Island, anything be Emerson or Thoreau. The Foxfire series.... this could be a lenghty list
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem Of a Dream (or any Daren Aronofsky and Quentin Tarontino) Into The Wild, Dancer In The Dark... also could be a lenghty list
Music: Not evn gonna try that one
Food: Mostly vegetarian. I might eat meat once a week, if that. Its so much esier to slice some peppers or celery or grab an apple or orange. The fresher the better!
The six things I could never do without

Sometimes I'm trying to figure out whats going through someone else's head to make them do what they do.
Thinking and sorting out possible problems of things around me that I haven't been able to figure out yet; How things are made and the paths things take to get to where they are, Projects I want to do around the house
Other times I'm plotting things for the future or things I want to get done over the weekend.... all sorts of stuff. Sometimes my head can be a weird place to be

If you don't like drama, want a good steady relationship, can take care of yourself, and can accept the Beagle for the awesome little guy he is (we're a package deal)

UPDATE:
I feel as though some of this should go without saying, but please do not contact me if:
You have never lived on you own
Don't have a car or job or no desire for either
If you think that I'll pay you for sex
If you're a single mom who likes to go party your ass off 'YOLO style' (I just shook my head while typing that) any and every chance you can dump the kid on someone else.

Hate to sound harsh, but I know what works for me, and those things don't.
