My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**on tour all summer and fall, working with some bands. **

A genuine, honest, empathetic, music-obsessed guy who loves new experiences and learning new things. I'm one of the most dynamic people you'll ever meet with a really wide range of interests.

I grew up in New York, so I'm very blunt, outspoken, opinionated and not afraid to speak my mind. And I have an accent. :)

My favorite thing in the entire world is live music shows. I've been fortunate to see many, many concerts. Probably a few thousand. Name an artist, I've probably worked for them.

I am all about collecting experiences and memories. Not photographs and 'likes'.

Those are a few things that come to mind,
The rest I'll let you figure out...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

I'll save the fun details for conversations that are in-person. But just like everyone else on okcupid, I love traveling (Thailand; France; Amsterdam; Israel, Bolivia, Brazil, and more); I've got a few degrees in random things that interest me (sociology, journalism, music, psychology,); and I've worked some pretty interesting jobs (forensic psychologist dorking in jail; social worker; crisis counselor; merchandise person for bands in the music scene; tour manager, and a few more)

Currently I've been touring with bands. In April 2014 I decided to take a break from psychology to see how well I could do focusing on music. In 8 months I went to 35 states and South America while working for bands. It has been an unbelievable year. Very exciting.

** update - as of September 2015, I've done 3 laps around the country, South America and Canada. And I have two more tours lined up **

I went from doing the merchandise for tours to now being the tour manager. Very fun transition. Managing bands I grew up listening to is very surreal.

I have a thirst for new experiences and adventures. I love to learn new things and see as much as possible.
I want to have a bunch of mini-lives within this one existence.
Forrest Gump style. :)

I'm the only person I've met so far, that is the combination of my two particular ethnicities.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - More non-fiction than fiction. Lately I've been reading science books.

Movies - I enjoy movies that make you think as opposed to ones designed to dazzle.

Shows - I don't watch much tv anymore, but I keep up with The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Bates Motel, Gotham, and most BBC documentaries.

Music - music is my favorite part of life. I hate when people say, "I listen to everything.". It sounds like a cop out. But I have to be honest...I listen to everything. I like talented musicians..despite the genre, if you know how to play your instrument, you've likely won me over. Having worked in the music scene for years, I've had the chance to see literally thousands of shows, and I've met most artists\bands I've ever listened to. Music is my favorite part of life.

Food - I'm mainly a carnivore. I enjoy trying new foods. I cooked bacon wrapped filet mignon for the first time the other night. It was really good. :)

How people work.
And in the back of my mind, there is always the awareness that we're these animated blobs of matter, living on a planet that's soaring through space, in one of billions of galaxies. It helps me put things in perspective, and realize my tininess in the world.
