My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A genuine, honest, empathetic, music-obsessed guy who loves new experiences and learning new things. I'm one of the most dynamic people you'll ever meet with a really wide range of interests.

I grew up in New York, so I'm very blunt, outspoken, opinionated and not afraid to speak my mind. And I have an accent. :)

My favorite thing in the entire world is live music shows. I've been fortunate to see many, many concerts. Probably a few thousand. Name an artist, I've probably worked for them.

Those are a few things that come to mind,
The rest I'll let you figure out...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living.

I'll save the fun details for conversations that are in-person. But just like everyone else on okcupid, I love traveling (Thailand; France; Amsterdam; Israel, and more); I've got a few degrees in random things that interest me (sociology, journalism, music, psychology,); and I've worked some pretty interesting jobs (forensic psychologist; social worker; merchandise person for bands in the music scene; and a few more)

Currently I've been touring with bands across the country doing their merchandise. In November 2014 I'm going to Europe to learn how to be a tour manager for a month.

I have a thirst for new experiences and adventures. I love to learn new things and see as much as possible. Forrest Gump style. :)
I’m really good at

and being honest of my weaknesses

I'm the only person I've met so far, that is the combination of my two particular ethnicities.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - More non-fiction than fiction. Lately I've been reading science books.

Movies - I enjoy movies that make you think as opposed to ones designed to dazzle.

Shows - I don't watch much tv anymore, but I keep up with The Walking Dead, Breaking a Bad, Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Bates Motel, and most BBC documentaries.

Music - music is my favorite part of life. I hate when people say, "I listen to everything.". It sounds like a cop out. But I have to be honest...I listen to everything. I like talented musicians..despite the genre, if you know how to play your instrument, you've likely won me over. Having worked in the music scene for years, I've had the chance to see literally thousands of shows, and I've met most artists\bands I've ever listened to. Music is my favorite part of life.

Food - I'm mainly a carnivore. I enjoy trying new foods. I cooked bacon wrapped filet mignon for the first time the other night. It was really good. :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music
Things to assess \ figure out
Animals
Being able to travel \ be in nature
Stimulating conversation
Sunny days at outdoor festivals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How things work.
How people work.
And in the back of my mind, there is always the awareness that we're these animated blobs of matter, living on a planet that's soaring through space, in one of billions of galaxies. It helps me put things in perspective, and realize my tininess in the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working some concert venue in the Bay area. Or not.
