My self-summary
Yes, I am from the South. Not the deep-fried South, but well below the Mason-Dixon. Many (but not all) of the stereotypes NYers have also apply to me: outgoing, slower-walking, slower-talking, please and thank you-saying, etc. Unlike my confederate brethren, though, I do keep my shirt on when walking down the street.
What I’m doing with my life
I started a small marketing business in 2009 and have been keeping busy growing it ever since. I just wish someone had told me that running your own shop requires MORE work, not less. Still, my work/life balance is pretty great so I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones.

I'm also an avid kickboxer in the rich tradition of Jean-Claude Van Damme. Only in less slow-motion. But with more glitter and louder yelling. Less cocaine, unfortunately.
I’m really good at
L'esprit de l'escalier.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. Feathered and beautiful.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love books on evolutionary psychology - The Selfish Gene, The Red Queen, Darwin's Dangerous Game, etc. You think evo psych is just a bunch of pseudo-intellectual mumbo-jumo? Well, you're probably right.

I won't bore you with a film list, but if you prefer to interpret Ferris' Bueller's Day Off as if the whole thing were just imagined by a suicidal Cameron, I'm pretty sure we will get along.

My taste in music stinks and I don't care.

Food is the reason to live NYC. I eat anything and everything. Horse? Been there. Whale? Done that. The seminal vesicles of a fish? Let's just say that they should feed those fish more pineapple.
The six things I could never do without
★ Suede-bottomed shoes
★ The perfect Manhattan
★ Witty reparte
★ My chucks
★ Hot Fuss
★ Sriracha
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Um...are you going to finish that?
On a typical Friday night I am
Working hard to effect societal change and improve multicultural understanding through disproving the notion that white people can't dance.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was once a professional "entertainer of women."
You should message me if
