Forgive me, but I rarely know what I should say here. For the most part, feel free to ask me anything else you'd like to know. I just received my master's in mechanical engineering. I can have my nerdy moments; I like video games and film, but I do them for fun and don't form a lifestyle around it. I also like to watch football, and was a soccer player back in before I started college. I listen to a lot of music too. Anything else you'd like to know, just ask.

I am friendly, funny, and clever

I'm an engineer working for Allison Transmission. I just started there back in November. I've been enjoying my job so far. I'm not sure where I'll end up for sure since I always envisioned myself being farther away from where I grew up, but I can't really complain about where I am now. For the time being I am commuting from to Indianapolis, but I'm in the process of moving.

I think I'm good at making people laugh. If I can get a chuckle or a smile out of someone, I feel like I accomplished my goal. I usually stick to wit, throw some bad one liners into the mix too for the groans. I also tend to be a good problem solver and listener.

I tend to be quiet at first, but once I get a sense of your personality, and especially sense of humor, I'll jump right into the conversation. I certainly have no problem speaking to people I don't know, or speaking in front of a group, as long as I know what I'm talking about. I also hate sitting still, so if you don't like some one who fidgets, then I'm probably not for you.

I've been starting to get back in to reading. Right now I'm working on the Harry Potter series. I'm three books into it. I never read them before, but I really enjoyed the movies. I like mysteries too. I really like Jeffery Deaver, writer of ‘The Bone Collector’, ‘The Coffin Dancer’, ‘The Blue Nowhere’, and many others. I also enjoyed ‘The Lord of the Rings'. I’ve read some Tom Clancy too, but it depends mostly on my mood on what I’m the most interested in at the time.

I do enjoy watching movies though. I love ‘Apollo 13’ and ‘Forrest Gump’. ‘Apollo 13’ is one of the reasons I wanted to be an engineer. I love a good superhero movie, like ‘Spider-man’ or one of the Batman movies, especially ‘The Dark Knight’. Of course, the ‘Star Wars’ films are classics on their own. I already admitted to being a nerd, so I’ll admit that I really enjoyed the new ‘Star Trek’ too.

I don't watch much TV anymore, but there are a few shows that I really like, such as Psych and Leverage may be my favorites. I also like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and Bones.

My favorite music is classic rock, though I’ll mix some country in there occasionally. Some of my favorite bands include the Eagles, Journey, Styx, and Foreigner. In practice, my taste in music shifts with my mood. I have a pretty good sized library, but the number of songs I listen depends entirely on what group or groups I feel like at the moment.

In no particular order: my friends, my family, the internet, my glasses (unless I get corrective surgery), my sense of humor, and my computer.

I collect toy airplanes and spaceships. Any trip to the store leads to me checking out the toy section. I love airplanes and sci-fi, so I'm hoping to be able to display them all in my home someday.

Message me if you ever want to get to know be better or just talk. I'm not real good about filling all of these things out, so just ask if you want to know something. I like to meet new people, even if I seem quiet at first. I just need to get to know someone a little better before I'll open up. I find that I am a pleasant person to be around, so just give me a shout. I'll soon be pretty new to Indy, so I'd love to meet someone to show me around.
