My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Returned to South Florida after living most of my adult life in Manhattan, Boston for the last few years and Brooklyn before that. Spain prior to that….studied abroad…you get the picture. After working in advertising and marketing for 100 years, I came back to start a new chapter in my life as an entrepreneur with my own business. It's hard work but I'm pursuing my dream.

A few things about me...I have more hobbies and interests than any one person should be allowed....photography, tennis, making and fixing things, art, architecture, cooking, gardening as of late....city girl who loves the country...traveled, worked and lived overseas on a few occasions and I'm an admitted vagabond at heart..documentary, pop culture and information junkie - a fountain of useless knowledge....love dogs and recently adopted a little monster that I'm already in love with..My beliefs are important to me and I'm passionate about them. Friends say I'm the one you want to call if you're ever in the Cash Cab. I'm a straight shooter who doesn't lie, bullshit or play games....more importantly, I'm kind, thoughtful and loyal - traits I also look for in a partner.

I usually try to keep these things short and sweet, but for those interested I can tell you I'm not a typical "anything", I'm unconventional, yet practical, level headed yet creative and adventurous. I look, think and act much younger than my chronological age as does everyone in my family.

Witty banter welcomed and encouraged. I'm busy, you're busy, we're all busy...let's get to the good stuff. Please respect my age preferences, I know what I'm looking for and hopefully you do too. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Striving to be more, do more, think less, give more, worry less
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a good friend, fixing and making things, entertaining, exploring outside my box and taking chances.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm bubbly, passionate and energetic
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The Outliers, The Omnivores Dilemma, that perfect dose of quick news snippets I get from AM NY each morning on the subway, weather on the 1's, MadMen, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Real Time, Top Chef, James Morrison, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Wonder, Gavin Degraw, sushi, pizza, lobster, anything made with or in the vicinity of truffles and when peanut butter and chocolate are brought together. I have too many movies to mention even though I'm a self-admitted film snob and documentary junkie. My music taste is open to almost anything depending on my mood with the exception of country or containing a lot of banging or mentions of bitches and ho's.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I've lived without "things" and I'm fine, but I love a hot powerful shower, almost always have some kind of camera on me, dogs, chocolate, family/friends and coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I think so much
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
could be out....could be in
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I let the Boston Globe set me up on a blind date, thinking it would be an adventure...turned out to be more like a car crash.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are emotionally, legally and otherwise available, intelligent, don't lie (in your profile, life, etc.), like to cook and/or eat, love animals, are creative and slightly off center (in a good way, not a highly medicated way), you're fairly well read and well travelled, have stellar follow through, are a genuinely kind and thoughtful person, think you can make me laugh and most importantly are honest to yourself as you are to others. Oh and you probably don't have a shirtless selfie shot in front of the bathroom mirror as one of your profile pix….just a hunch.
