patient, detail-oriented, and spacing out
My self-summary Propose an edit
For me there's no such thing as being too laid back. I'm a simple
guy, not too flashy or crazy but I know when to have fun. I may
look very serious or indifferent at first but can be real talkative
once I get into the zone. I'm more straightforward than to make BS
up, because it's easier for me to say what I mean than to think of
something clever. Lame, I know, but I do try to hide the cold away
from the logical.
I have an interest in art and other cultures, but don't call me
artsy-fartsy or a hipster. It's no prerequisite for talking about
Josef Müller-Brockmann or how cool your Photoshop skills are. I
consider myself more of a computer geek. My mind is a mashup of the
technical and creative.
One of my favorite hobbies is to DJ, playing mostly electronic/dance music but
believe it or not I prefer going to house parties over clubs. Like
most guys my age I play video games, though not that much these
days. I also dabble in anime, the older stuff mostly.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I got a BFA in electronic media. Last year I graduated from college
and have already landed a full-time job in the internet/media
industry. Though my job's been great, I miss the college days so
I'm not ready to settle for a boring work/live routine.

Getting to the point. In lieu of BSing, I would rather have a
sincere response ready to fire. What I lack in sarcasm I make up
for by being blunt.
Being an optimist.
I can also sprint fast.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
My outward appearance doesn't reflect my interests.
"Dude, you're skinny!" Well, only in high school, actually. But I
still have a smaller build.
I also come off being just passive at first.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Not that I loathe books, but I don't actively seek out books to
read. I read to satiate practical needs and interests. non-fiction,
instructional or about current events.
For movies, most any Hollywood popcorn action flick will do.
Star Wars,
Bourne
Supermacy, something with Jackie Chan, you name it. Back to the
Future is the best trilogy, though. Also have a thing for
disaster movies. And Pixar movies. Want to see Wall-e
eventually...
I guess most people talk a lot about rock in their music section.
Not me, though! I listen mainly to electronic music, house music,
drum &
bass, Underground hip hop and some
mainstream. I don't write off anything else, though. Rock, latin,
funk, jazz are welcome in my ears, I just don't actively seek 'em
out. So I'd hear a little Johnny Cash or Herbie Hancock every now
and then.
Not really picky on food. Just really hate onions, though. I enjoy
Chinese and Japanese more than Italian or Mexican, and buffalo
wings are perfect just as a meal. If a resturant offers buffalo
wings I'd try them just to see how they make theirs.
