My Self-Summary
I am a professor with a healthy sense of the absurd, and who enjoys
conversing over a well-constructed meal, with conversation running
the gamut from issues of social justice to British murder
mysteries/spy shows.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Too many books, too little time--I like novels, murder mysteries,
academic books, etc. I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter series. I
love Nicole Krauss's _The History of Love_. It's hard to come up
with favorites! Same with movies--I really liked _In the Loop_, I
found _Julie/Julia_ to be kinda cute but no more than that, etc. I
like all kinds of music but have a particular fondness for
bluegrass. And food--I love to eat in general and love autumn foods
in particular: squash, root vegetables, apples, apple pie, pumpkin
pie, chai tea; I'm mostly vegetarian but love to cook! And I enjoy
a nice glass of red wine...
