Hello and welcome.

As you've seen I like to begin by setting the mood.
Consider a glass of your favourite wine and a nice rich, dark chocolate.
Now kick off those shoes, sit back, relax and get nice and comfortable.
Feel all that stress leaving your shoulders yet?
You would if you were getting one of my world-class back rubs, working all those cares away.

So now that we're settled in the first thing you should know is how I like to get to know people.

I love movies and good food as much as the next guy but I don't think that 90 minutes of staring at a glowing rectangle without exchanging a word, nor interviewing each other over dinner in a room filled with strangers is a great way to start off.
I think I'd prefer to try a little something else first.

I prefer to learn how we get on together, find out if our wavelengths match up.
I think sharing an experience, doing something together, maybe something of the senses; a motion, a taste, a smell, a sight, a touch are good places to start.

Perhaps we'd soak up a little something, hopefully share a laugh, see if anything clicks.

I think we owe it to ourselves to at least try and make a little something to smile back on later don't you?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Learning about how other folks do what they do and why they do it.
Figuring out what to try next.
Aspiring to the optimal.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
exploring the depths of whatever catches my interest.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Media : Generally I love survival-horror stuff. Preferably including zombies... in space... in the future.

Movies : Generally they fall into easy going comedy or studies in tension The Thing, Cube, Anchorman, Inception, I could name loads but they're the first that come to mind.

TV : The Walking Dead(More zombies), Burn Notice & Dexter though season 6 sucked :(
Game of Thrones, The Colony, The BBC Sherlock Holmes modern re-imagining was a great show.
Breaking Bad was also brilliant.
I really like good writing that isn't afraid to shake up the audience.

Comedies I like include Black Books, Spaced, Blackadder, Police Squad, The I.T. Crowd, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, My name is Earl, Q.I., Archer, Community, Wilfred, The Onion, Children's Hospital and I hear both Arrested Developement & Red Dwarf are returning. :D

Loads are on the list that I'd love to get around to watching sometime e.g., It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Boardwalk Empire, Fringe, *sigh* if I could have time for them all...

I've been neglecting live performances for too long.
I must see some more stand up comedy shows and theatre.
I should warn you that I find watching sporting events and live music quite boring usually.

Books : It's all audiobooks and various business/management/statistics stuff at the moment but when reading for leisure I rad the likes of Prachett, G.R.R.M., Aurtur C. Clarke, Peter F. Hamilton, Iain Banks,Kirkman to give a taste.

Music:
I have something from most popular genres on my playlists and look out for new things when I can.
Bastard Pop refreshes old favourites and I recently began listening to some electro-metal-dance and opera/classicals mostly from movie soundtracks. I do like spanish guitar.
Soulwax / 2 Many DJs, Kavinsky, Acrobatics, John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Nightwish's Phantom of the Opera to name some of the last stuff I was listening to.

Sport : Some jogging, some soccer, some weight training. I wanted to do a run for your lives event or but i may have to settle for a warriordash instead.

Food : I'm not big on seafood. I only eat fish fingers because they're cleverly disguised.
Spicy food is fine by me but I burn my mouth easily on temperature-hot stuff so please only half fill my cup when throwing on the kettle. :)
Cooking together can be fun.
I'd like to add to my repertoire of what I can cook.

Games : I enjoy playing with friends a few co-op games, my favourite being Left 4 Dead 2 on PC (survive the zombies together!).

Other/Project : Some home improvement shite. I have the tools! I can rebuild it, faster, stronger.

I made a 3D home cinema. Which is kinda my man-cave now.

I bought camera not long ago and want to practice some photography and maybe video. It's a good excuse to go nice places and see/do nice stuff.

One of my personal goals is to dance like Pacino in Scent of a woman so I might do some more Tango/Salsa/Bachata.

I'm fascinated by elegant solutions to real-world problems. TED.com is great for them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In there here and now :

something fun to look forward to.

something whorthwhile to strive for.

something to occupy my mind.

something to help me remember and organise stuff.

someone to share an experience with and be able to look back and laugh/smile about it later.

Nail clippers; it's not civilisation unless we have nail clippers.

In the future just 3 things :
A happy home,
a hand to hold,
a land to roam.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
loads of different stuff, mostly how to make the most of whatever I'm doing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Awesoming it up wherever I am.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a land-lubber, definitely not a fan of the open sea.
I also do not like having too many choices available.
