My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, I've been out of school for about a year, year and a half. I miss it quite a bit, probably will do the whole MFA thing in another year or two, assuming things line up good. In the interim, I'm just navigating this whole wasteland....err, wonderland, that we call adulthood.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pretty much just the thing where you go to a place and be there for 8 hours and then they pay you. And hanging with friends when I can. I'm trying to intermix some variety into that formula though!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think it’s worth noting, because much like the elusive sasquatch, my beard does not appear clearly in photographs, but I think I’m pretty good at beard.

I’m also funny, and smart, and pleasant, and modest, and charming, and honorable. I’m what people refer to as a “real deal”.

I doubled down on English degrees so.....not life decisions lol.

I’m kind of a classics man myself, in terms of favorites (Count of Monte Cristo and Of Mice and Men are probably favorites among them though. I'm all about dat high school lit).
Last few books I’ve read were Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett (it was kinda Pratchetty for me), The Conqueror by Jan Kjaerstad (by read I mean just started, but I don’t want to have to edit this again in a week or two like a jackass). I read a book a little while ago called The Visible Man by Chuck Klosterman, which was pretty good. I finally got around to reading Akira not too long ago, which was f*cking rad (censored for modesty. And the prudish).

Favorite movies would probably look like: Kill Bill vol. 2, Life Aquatic, I heart Huckabees, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Bad Education, 21 Grams, Magnolia, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Akira…

My favorite show ever was a cool little show on FX called Terriers that ran for one season a few years ago, which is probably pretty hipster of me, but it was good. Bored to Death was also great. I’m pretty big into Archer. Game of Thrones is solid of course.

I’m not exactly a ‘favorite foods’ kind of guy, I never really have been. Though I probably should start, because every time I try and be cosmopolitan and order something cool and fringy on a restaurant menu, I frequently regret it.

I’m pretty scattered in terms of my musical preferences, though I guess mainly I listen to underground hip-hop, so like Brother Ali, Blue Scholars, Atmosphere are probably the big ones. But I also listen to a lot of arena rock (REO Speedwagon might be my all-time favorite band, don’t judge), and I grew up on funk, and guys like Maceo Parker and Shuggie Otis have a special place in my brain.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't think I really have a 'typical Friday'. Sometimes I'm with friends, or out at a bar, or I might be a bit pooped from not getting enough sleep the whole week. I'm a grab-bag of zany possiblities

I'm afraid of horses. They have the cold stare of a psychopath and a kick that could kill a man.

Also, Bees.
