My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there I'm Randall :). I solve problems (mostly with computers but sometimes without). I grew up traveling around the U.S. and Europe. I spent the past 5 years in NYC. I moved to LA in August and am looking to meet some new fun people. I get really excited about space, science, and technology.

I spend most of my time traveling around the world for fun. I used to travel for work and have millions of miles saved up. Beyond that I have a lot of random hobbies that I pursue as frequently as I'm able. I also have a job that is very professionally satisfying and motivating: to help humanity become a multi-planetary species.

I'm looking for something more casual (friendship to something more) but I'm open to something more serious developing. I'd love to hangout with people in a similar mindset.

I like science and technology and want to contribute to those two things for the rest of my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Rationality and Reason
- Teachers
- NASA, ESA, or some space agency somewhere.
- The Internet
- Books
- People to share adventures with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why more efficient data-structures and algorithms aren't prevalent in my everyday life...? especially grocery store lines, airplane boarding, table waiting, city planning, and bar tending.

How much better it is to share certain things with other people and how I can find the right people to share those moments with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
One Friday I went skiing with my friends at 2am because someone had the audacity to claim that "nothing good happens after 2am."

After I got out of the ER I conceded that rarely do good things happen after 2am... on ski-slopes.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Statistically speaking, if English is not your first language we're more likely to get along.
