Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A summary of some things that I like:
To dream about flying
Making things (I’m an avid builder - Mostly wood and metal)
Travel and adventure
art deco furniture and architecture
an open mind
taking the ferry
a nice smile
and maybe even you
Oh Right... then the vitals... or the non vitals... I'm from the
east! Coast that is.... I love my roots, and more so my people. I
love my family. I come from a big and possibly crazy family. We are
rednecks and liberals and catholics and agnostic atheists... gays
and jews, and black and white africans... immigrants and
socialists, capitalists and free market democrats, open minded
republicans and a surprise at every holiday dinner. Me... I'm some
of the all and none of low.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Solving the puzzle! Most of it's put together, but solving the last
bits, Like a jigsaw puzzle where the last pieces make it all come
together... I guess that's what I'm working on. Oh, and I like to
build bridges. Mostly suspension bridges, but cable stayed and
metaphorical ones too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking to strangers, fixing the lighting, hiking in the rain,
making a fire, being curious, making a mess, cleaning it up, table
manners, telling a story, imagining, operating heavy machinery,
safety, respect, getting lost, finding myself, cleaning the
kitchen, this list... not much but striving for greatness... oh,
and building bridges
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told it's my eyelashes, but I don't know if that has any
relevance to anything.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books, movies, shows, music.... and food? I like good art. All
forms. I can tolerate all sorts of taste in everything but food. I
don't eat gluten, dairy or anything else that makes me feel ill. I
consider myself an omnivore, but I grew up hunting and farming, so
I'm not really into eating other peoples farm raised animals.
Occasionally I will if I'm really really hungry, but more so these
days I'm trying to figure out how to get all the nutrients,
calories, V&M's, and still enjoy my only real connection to the
outside world...(FOOD!!!), without participating in any unfair food
chain privilege! I get that we(humans) are at the top, but as I get
older... more seasoned... all of the creatures seem to have a
purpose higher than my sandwich. Coupled with the fact that I am
allergic to gluten, dairy, beets(super bummer!!!) and would prefer
to catch and kill whatever air, sea or land dweller I'm gonna make
into my food stuffs, I can be somewhat of a pain in the arse to eat
with. Fortunately the bay area is progressive about lots of
things... including food. It's all about health and well being. If
this part sounds strange... you should probably keep looking. I'm
not a foodist, but what we eat is our only real
(biological/chemical and possibly spiritual) connection to the
Entertainment I recently liked:
Arrested development, breaking bad, downton abbey, colbert, daily
show, cat kissing dolphin, dog kissing baby, NASA, flaming
meteoroid crater in russia, Sun Ra, My father explaining Ray
Charles and Count Basie playing "It's a Beautiful Morning", trying
to write a self summary for a dating site, being curious about you!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a way to communicate
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
trying to make sure it's not a typical friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've broken my own rules.
