I am in need of, Compassion, and Companionship.

My Self-Summary

Well, I love to be crazy around people I don't know-- as to give them a lasting impression of myself. Once you've known me for more than 3 days, however, I become pretty boring.

Well, at least, that's how it worked out for me.

This, of course, excludes those who like to have actual, stimulating conversations; personally, i find it surprisingly difficult to have a great conversation with myself. Maybe it has something to do with this ISFP thing?

::UPDATE:: Someone lied to me. THIS makes way more sense!

What I’m doing with my life

Biding my time. And enjoying every second of it.

I’m really good at

Smiling, running around in a circle, sprinting in an effort to catch flying objects, being insane, faking sanity, analyzing unnecessary things, appreciating irony, cropping my photos for their maximum enigma-potential (or so I'm told), composing photographs, using concise diction, proofreading, keeping my infinitives intact, imbibing overly-stimulating beverages, taking naps with other people, commentating life unconventionally, being impulsive, creating parallel sentence structures...

The first things people usually notice about me

I talk about being naked quite a bit.. probably too much. I guess it scares away all of the "bad" people though. Fie on clothes!

It's probably slightly more logical, rather, to believe that they're really just noticing my hair first. Or maybe my teeth. Or my unusually muscular build.

It really just depends on what's important to the observer in question.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Authors: Bertrand Russell, Vladimir Nabokov, Franz Kafka, Chuck Palahniuk, Noam Chomsky, Richard Feynman, Charles Bukowski, Aldous Huxley, Tim Leary, JD Salinger, Bret Ellis, Nic Sheff, Christopher Moore, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simon Blackburn

Directors: Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Michel Gondry, Werner Herzog, David Lynch, Woody Allen, Darren Aronofsky, Oliver Stone, PT Anderson, Mel Brooks, Spike Jonze [when working in conjunction with Charlie Kaufman] Honorable Mentions: Breaking the Waves, American Beauty, Happiness, Monster's Ball, The Lives of Others. All for terribly different reasons.

Musicians: *in order of immediate recollection* The Beatles (namely John and George), Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon, Traveling Wilburys, Air, The Smiths, Antony and The Johnsons, Jens Lekman, Sufjan Stevens, The Cure, Goldfrapp, Radiohead, Daft Punk, The Doors, Tool/APC, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Nina Simone, Leonard Cohen, Wilco, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Bob Marley, Funkadelic/P-Funk, Chris Isaak, Led Zeppelin, Manu Chao, Portishead, Gorillaz, Cut Copy, Peter Bjorn and John, Immortal Technique, M.I.A., XTC, The Stone Roses, Matson Jones, Gipsy Kings, Yo La Tengo. I like to say I'm pretty diverse musically (i.e. "I listen to everything"), but so many people say that that it's become a totally meaningless phrase.

Foods: Middle Eastern, Indian, Thai, or Vietnamese cuisines. Pitted dates. Sushi. Fresh, seedless papayas. Spinach and feta omelettes. Rich vanilla ice cream. Sugar-free Red Bull. Steamed broccoli. Legumes of any type. And grapenuts with soy milk.

The six things I could never do without

Endorphins, eye contact, randomly executed travel plans, witty rhetoric complete with extensive vocabulary, everything listed under the previous question, and sunlight.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Who came up with circumcision, seriously?

But more importantly-- why?

Note: By the way, this is a RHETORICAL question. Otherwise I would just bite the bullet and look it up rather than spend so much time THINKING about it (ref. above question.).

On a typical Friday night I am

Looking for somewhere to belong. And a means by which I may acquire a full tank of gas and a destination.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am somehow able to derive silly amounts of pleasure from flossing.

You should message me if

You like to go on random road trips and not sleep at night (not necessarily at the same time, but possibly). Also! If you're into making up new words, I'm sure we'll have some interesting conversations--well, at least potentially interesting conversations.
