i have trouble believing that new york city is real; consequently, my life is unreal...

i'm strolling around a movie set, but i'm not the main character. i'm "guy with glasses..."

Books

Just finished The Silence Once Begun by Jesse Ball, moved onto the third installment of My Struggle by Karl Ove Knausgaard, Crime and Punishment, A Scanner Darkly by PKD, and the second book in Jason Lutes Berlin graphic novel trilogy.

Music

A bunch of stuff. Currently on repeat: Sun Kil Moon, Songs: Ohia, The War On Drugs, Tom Waits, Bonnie Prince Billy, Oneohtrix Point Never, Caribou.

Television

David Duchovny's face makes me happy and cures my homesickness. My ideal match would be Gillian Anderson...I Roku

Movies

Science fiction is the best. I live near the JMZ line, and while riding my bike under the train, especially near where the M meets the J at Myrtle Avenue, I like to pretend that I am Harrison Ford in Blade Runner.

Werner Herzog's voice is in my head. Every time I feel happy he has a miserable response that makes me the correct amount of melancholy.

Recently watched Boyhood, The Fog of War, The Unknown Known, The Before Trilogy, basically Linklater and Morris all day all night.
