I'm fortunate enough to have a job that I love and one that's inspirational more than it's exhausting. I get to travel the world to work with amazing organizations, people, and kids in a variety of countries and continents. I spend a lot of time traveling for work and my favorite hidden gem of a place hands down is Namibia, although Buenos Aires, Capetown, and Zanzibar top the list as well. Not so surprisingly, I enjoy coming home most of all. It keeps me moving and keeps me creative, but takes some balancing of my life on the road with my life at home.

-Landing in a new country and finding my way to the hidden gem of a restaurant or site worthy of a postcard
-Gathering and feeding a group of random friends
-Making a last minute meal from the random leftovers and condiments in the fridge
-Connecting with kids
-Wearing a mermaid costume with chuck taylors and jeans.

My eyes - green, brown, yellow, hazel or all of the above...

Music - anything live and with rhythm - African bands, Salsa, Argentinian tango, New Orleans cajun... as well as some blues, and can always enjoy classic performances as well.

Books - The Guernsy and Potato Peel Society, Water for Elephants, Like Water for Chocolate, What is the What, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy... some favs.

Movies - Darjeeling Limited, Sex & Lucia, Il Postino, Roman Holiday... foreign and classics alike...

A passport, MB, and could live without most everything else ... I'm simple...

How to actually use my airline mileage points! What food I'll eat first when I return from the lands of rice or posho. How to find and enjoy even small routines when I'm home...

No such thing! Traveling near and far, visiting friends, dancing a milonga, seeing live music, enjoying a long drink, out and enjoying wherever I am.
