My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find it very hard to write about myself because of course everyone's image of themselves is different from how others view you. I will say that the general opinion seems to be that I am a cool person, most people like me, and I enjoy lots of things so I tend to get along with everyone.

Some things I'm really into-

First and foremost anything theatre related I'm extremely passionate about. That is my career and my first love. I design costumes but love all aspects of theatre. Singing is also a big passion for me, I cannot remember a time that I wasn't in some sort of choir. Art is something I'm just starting to learn about but is quickly growing to be another passion of mine.

It sounds dorky to some but I Love bowling. My whole family has been bowling in leagues forever and I was just brought up with it. My first job was even at our local bowling center. I also just recently started playing pool in a local APA league.

I really enjoy learning about stuff like astrology and tarot, and love paranormal stuff and ghost stories. I also love scary movies. I guess I like spooky stuff in general.

I enjoy going out and doing things, but I hate doing things alone so when my friends can't come out I end up sitting at home reading. Sad I know, but that's why I want to meet new people, thus the profile... that and I got bored really late one night and decided 'what the hell'

I am random, mellow, and a daydreamer
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just moved back to Austin after 3 years of graduate school in California. I work part-time as at an after school art program, and freelance as a costume designer/stitcher. I'm working towards building myself a life in Austin.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at bowling. I can also sew and make patterns well. It doesn't mean much but I kick ASS at Tetris and Tetris Attack.

I'm also really good at bringing up seemingly random subjects but in my minds the connection between the new subject and the last make perfect sense because hey, we were talking about peanut butter and that can be used in cookies and that's a form of cooking and did you know that this famous chef died? stuff like that, except I usually just jump to the new subject without really explaining.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair- I like dying it crazy colors, although I haven't dyed it in a while. Personality wise- I have no idea... I haven't really ever had anyone comment to me about "well, when I first met you, I noticed...." so really, who knows?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books/Authors: Anne Rice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Mists of Avalon, Charlaine Harris, Tamora Pierce, Nick Hornby, and so on and so forth

Favorite Movies: Amadeus (My all time favorite!), Nightmare before Christmas (Anything Tim Burton, really), Cradle Will Rock, Edward Sissorhands, The Lord of the Rings movies, The Ring (any asian horror movies, actually...okay horror movies period. Good and bad.)

I love all kinds of music but some of my favorite bands at the moment are The Sounds, Hole/Courtney Love, Black Keys, The Beatles, The Faint, Korn, Cake, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Some Webcomics I read: Something Positive, Girl Genius, Girls with Slingshots and Punch an' Pie (when it updates) Though more and more often now I tend to read them in big gulps after not looking at the page in a month or more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.My copy of Amadeus- I adore that movie I end up watching it at least once every month or so

2. Arts/Crafts stuff- I have lots of creative outlets, most of them are domesticated (sewing, crochet, knitting, etc) but I also like to play around with painting

3.Music- I hate silence

4. My Library Card- reading is also something I tend to do a lot of, I would hate to be told I couldn't read

5.My friends- I know that's not really a "thing" but I have to have friends in my life.

6. Bowling...yeah, unusual, but true.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the current trends of vampires and zombies says about our society as a whole.

I really enjoy learning about stuff like astrology and tarot, and love paranormal stuff and ghost stories. I also love scary movies. I guess I like spooky stuff in general.

I try not to think about serious stuff too much honestly- Don't get me wrong I love the occasional philisophical talk but too much and I start to feel jaded about the world and that's just not much fun. I love listening to other people's musings though, I just don't often add a whole lot of my own insight.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually chilling with my friends hanging out, having a drink, and playing a game like cards against humanity or you don't know jack. Sometimes I try to convince people to go see a movie or karaoke or trivia.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a spaz. When I get cold chills I spaz out/shake hardcore and sometimes injure myself at movie theatres in the process.

If you're interested in meeting new people...I'm SO not looking for one-night stands or anything like that to be honest. I just want to meet some new cool people to hang out with, and we'll see where it goes from there.
