I feel art is an expression of genuine experience and living is an
artform. I enjoy unexpected moments of wonder and joy. I highly

Getting dressed for an occasion is one of my favorite activities. I
prefer deep, insightful conversation to small talk. I prefer
dancing, singing and intimate connection to talking. Uninhibited
eye contact is required for deep relating with me. I am curious,
open-hearted, intelligent, honest, loyal, gentle, playful,
whimsical and enjoy interacting with humans with similar or
complementary qualities.

What I’m doing with my life
Growing, maturing and being. I work by day in the IT department of
a private University. By night I practice yoga, do photography,
paint, dance, play with my cat, watch movies, read or make
art/design clothing. I'm also part of several "urban tribes" in the
Bay Area which are centered around dance, music, the importance of
community and expansion of our human potential/personal growth. The
depth of my human connections is of monumental importance to me.
I’m really good at
Making people feel at ease, dancing, cooking, playing cards,
spreadsheets, opening my heart. I'm also not bad at playing with
words and colors.
The first things people usually notice about me
In general, my smile. When I am out on the town, my clothes. When
I'm on the dance floor, my moves. ;)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I prefer those with pictures... though always keep an
enlightened stack of non-fiction by the bedside.
Movies: I've rated approximately 2K of them in my Netflix account. Fair to say I like them. Faves off the top of my head: You, Me & Everyone We Know, Blue Velvet, The Princess Bride, Excalibur, Girl on a Bridge, A Room With a View, Pulp Fiction, Serial Mom, The Professional, Brazil, Cheap Fast & Out of Control (I could go on...)
Music: Massive Attack, Throwing Muses, Wolfgang Press, Bowie, Donovan, Leonard Cohen, Love and Rockets, The Machine, Coltrane, Chet Baker, Bjork, Lush, Cardigans, Portishead, The Bird and The Bee, Breeders...
Food: I'm a foody. It's hard not to be living around here and having taste buds. I don't eat piglings and I love raw seafood... as long as it's well-prepared, I like everything else.
