My love language test results say that I value physical touch and quality time the most. I tend to be visual by nature, very loving, extremely loyal, generous, and decisive.

Sometimes I eat peanut butter and preserves out of the jar but drink milk out of a glass. I am somewhat of a foodie. Food is usually the center of (and most memorable part of) any vacation.

My philosophy is that two happy and independent people can complement each other through their life experiences. I am very interested in hearing people’s stories and tend to be a very good listener. Hopefully you are the same.

Though my degree was in art (BFA in sculpture/ceramics), I spend most of my days working as an engineer for a large cable company headquartered in Atlanta. February 2010 will make 8 years with the same employer. I spend most of my nights either at the gym, taking art classes, or relaxing at home with my cats. (they are very needy)

books: I spend far too much time reading certification prep manuals. Pleasure books have been few and far between lately but I enjoy the writings of Neil Strauss.

movies: I'm not going to bore you with a list; however, I grew up at Rocky Horror. A couple of my favorite sci-fi titles that come to mind are Tron and BladeRunner. I enjoy all types of films but find comedy refreshing. I also like some classics like Citizen Kane (ROSEBUD!) by Orson Welles and Hitchcock films.

One of my favorite TV shows is 'Weeds'.

music: Diverse tastes. Mainly a fan of old 80s new wave, electronic (Air, Royksopp, etc.), industrial, and some 90's dance. Most recent concerts I have attended have been Peter Murphy and Depeche Mode if that tells you anything.

food: avocado, crispy bacon, cheese (especially with crystallization), garlic stuffed olives, good mole sauce, almonds, stouts, ales, and sweeter wines. Oh, and I must not forget high quality milk chocolate.

Favorite ethnic foods include Indian, Bangladeshi, Korean BBQ, and Mexican.

Aside from the obvious things.. (oxygen, water, food, etc.)

1) My Family and Cats - Truly the best family I could have ever wished for.
2) Electricity - Georgia Power should be sending me a fruitcake this year.
3) A career - I just can't imagine a life without direction and purpose
4) A home - There is no place like it.
5) Reliable transportation - Everything just seems harder without it
6) Memories - What did you have for dinner last night?

What did I have for dinner last night? Was that stoplight green or red? Do I really need a long term memory with the invention of Wikipedia? Could I be using those brain cells for something more productive? Why can't old dogs learn new tricks? Can Geico really save me a bundle on my car insurance? Is 42 the answer?

I enjoy hanging out at The Highlander, El Myr, The Local, and The Porter, but am content sitting at home watching a great movie with my cat and perhaps you ;)

NOTE: Not to sound like a complete douche, but I am primarily interested in *dating* women whom still have some child bearing years ahead of them. I would like offspring someday with the right person. That is not to say I can't be a friend. Just want to set an expectation for dating and relationships.
