One word that describes what I am looking for in a relationship - Effortless. I am looking for something organic, seamless, or just plain easy. If we have to work too hard on it, it is not working! :)

One word that describes me: Contradiction. Shy-loquacious-mature-goofy-sassy-proper-extrovert-introvert-giggly-serious....and the list goes on.

I think curiosity does not kill the cat! I will try just about anything once for novelty sake (ask me about the time I went steam tunneling or dog sledding on a glacier!). My interests are as follows, in no particular order: Dancing, Hiking, Traveling, Shooting Ranges, Hot Yoga, Skiing (beginner), Tennis (beginner) and anything else that does not require me to jump off a plane (ok, I might try that one day as well!)

I am an amateur at watching sports, but if you are an eager teacher, I am teachable! I almost got killed while rooting for Lakers in Boston in 2010. I like Red Sox, even though I should be rooting for Dodgers, and I was hoping for a Niners victory this year (so disappointing)!

Being a LA girl, my ideal first date would probably be a walk on the beach! But because we are limited here, a glass of wine in a rooftop bar or a beer at a bar that has more than your amstels and coronas of the world - should work perfectly! (Brother Thelonious is a good beer!) :) I have heard of wine and art events (not that I can really draw or paint), but something creative like that should be fun too!

So, what do I want in a guy? No laundry list - just you, an open mind and a lot of optimism and desire to live a laughter-filled life! But if you are flaky, have poor English, or want a one-night stand, please don't bother emailing me.

I am from California, went to undergrad in south bay and then decided to venture out to the east coast. It was a 7 year long adventure, and I am better for it! I am working for a tech company (surprise, surpise), in a non-tech role that makes people want to stab me sometimes :) (You can guess my role!)

If I could truly only have 6 things in life: Water, Food, Sleep, Love, Laughter, and Courage. Those are the key ingredients in life.

Recently a friend sent me a youtube link of Russel Peter's skit that explains the difference between men and women. It is hilarious, because it emphasizes how women never stop thinking. I am no different, so pretty much I spend a lot of time thinking about A LOT OF things. :) But, my thoughts are often preoccupied with why people act the way they do, why I act the way that I do, and how I will become better at almost everything in life. I know I can't achieve perfection, but it is quite nice to think about how I can get pretty close! :)

I get the "Friday Fever" and can never sit at home. So, in other words, I am out and about! Sometimes it is just dinner with friends, sometimes drinks, sometimes movies, and sometimes all out clubbing. I love to try new things, so if you can think of something fun we can do together, we may just get along!

It takes me forever to get on an escalator! :)
