i delight in the surreal and silly. i can't see a movie without popcorn, can't face a morning without coffee, and can't carry a tune in a bucket, but don't mind trying. i probably know more elephant jokes than anyone else on the planet, i don't like to capitalize things, am a mild insomniac, have crippling stage fright, and have a terrible memory for useful information (my mind is full of princess bride trivia, and elephant jokes). i have many strange and useless talents, ranging from gymnastics on horseback to knowing how to trephinate a human skull with nothing but a rusty spoon and a bottle of whiskey. just beginning to learn bass guitar, still cant play much of anything, but i love the way it gets into your bones, you know? i read entirely too much, sf and fantasy mostly, and i have an unhealthy obsession with monkeys. and pirates, god, do I love pirates. i enjoy games of all sorts, and i'm fiercely competitive, i enjoy most sports, especially football (which i can throw better than most guys i know). my favorite color is the blue that that one part of the sky turns about an hour before sunset. while i can't stand seafood of any sort, i always appreciate a good steak. i love to dance, ballroom especially but i've been known to get down and boogie if the right 80's music comes on. i can't keep my apartment clean but i can do a 5000 piece puzzle in two days. i enjoy bartending, got me a knack for getting people drunk and can make a tasty beverage out of pretty much anything..(wasabi? pancake syrup? girlscout cookies? no problem.) i have a weakness for accents. and i have a tendency to ramble.

I've worked at any number of odd jobs. really, they are pretty strange. I've done everything from painting temporary tatoos, to slinging hot dogs, to bartending in a hookah lounge, to playing cards for a living, to video game testing, to running an archive at a major university. can't seem to get tied down to any one "career". Most recently on the board of an LGBT Archive and doing community organization and marketing at a video game company. Just want to pay the rent and have enough free time to PLAY.

b)pirates of the Caribbean, the last unicorn, quick change, clue, when harry met sally, the princess bride (obviously), the triplets of beville, serenity, secretary, so many more...

c) jason webley, she wants revenge, the decemberists, rush, moxy fruvous, tmbg, barenaked ladies, tenatious D, really.. i'm easy, as long as it isn't country or rap (no. not *that* kind of "easy", you dirty-minded perv ...well, not always.)

d)mmm. i'm hungry...(but no seafood, ick.)

salt, the princess bride, a deck of cards, someone to make me laugh, coffee, pirates.
