Like everyone else, I considered what it would be like to be a billionaire. A friend asked me what I wanted, and after taking care of family and friends, all I really wanted was a house, a dog, and someone to spend all that money with.
My interests include music(super ecletic but I have my Metallica tickets for next month), movies(though TV seems to be telling better stories these days), baseball, basketball (not a warriors fan but they are fun to watch), and football (especially the playoffs). I play kickball in the spring and summer (is it March yet?). Conversation is also something I enjoy but more in depth topics, small talk is not that interesting to me.
Who is that special someone i referred to earlier? Someone real, kind, independent, intelligent, and willing to put the time in to get to know me and help me become a better person. Hopefully, I can provide the same. I will at least give it my best shot.
And if she has a dog, well that's two out of three. We can worry about the house later.
What I’m doing with my life
I like my job, not the most difficult, but I find away to challenge myself. I also like that I go home when I'm done. I'm not looking at a clock waiting for it to hit 5pm.
I’m really good at
Listening, learning, being a good companion/friend/partner, and going with the flow.
Barbecuing, I grill most of my food.
Kickball(defending last seasons championship soon). I used to be good at volleyball and basketball but haven't played in a while (always up for a pickup game though), and cards (poker mostly).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors Michael Crichton, Dan Brown, Michael Byrnes.
TV: Newsroom, True Blood, Person of Interest, Revenge, Big Bang Theory, Lost Girl, Covert Affairs, Daily Show, Charlie Rose.
Music... Very Eclectic. Just about every genre from classical (Mozart), to Hip-Hop (Ludacris), to rock (Metallica), to R&B (Usher/Rihanna), classic rock (Beatles), etc. My new favorite: Glass Animals
The six things I could never do without
Dessert (at least once in a while)
Car = Freedom
Someone interesting to talk/listen to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Sports, friends and family, my next vacation
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. But Saturday night I can be found enjoying a concert or
anywhere with music. Live sporting events are preferred but if my
favorite teams are on, any TV/Radio will do. I enjoy a variety of
games: darts, poker, pool, video, board etc. Spending time with
those I care about is #1.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
in person. You can ask me when we meet.
You should message me if
You believe in the phrase "friends first". It is what works for me in finding a lasting relationship. If hiking, concerts, sporting events, traveling, and winding down the week with a DVD and dinner appeals to you.
