My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I suppose I should fill out this part of the profile, but for now let me say that I'm slightly offended that ok cupid thinks I'm worse mannered. I'm admittedly a bit of a smart ass, but it's not like I'm going to be dropping f-bombs in front your grandma or anything. Well, not unless she does it first.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Walking my DNA around and doing what it tells me to.
On a more serious note, I am happy to report that I've reached one of those exciting transitional points that happens in life and now I'm free to pursue my mission to be a farmer/builder/artist more or less in that order. Maybe that's the wrong order because I just got two of my cool, classy, custom concrete coffee tables into a gallery and they want more stuff! I should probably also add urban in front of the farmer part, now that I've decided to move to Portland. I want to help meet the demand this fair city has for chicken coops, vertical planters, custom greenhouses, attractive raised beds and any other urban homesteading needs you can think of. If you have an idea and you need someone to build it then you should definitely send me a message. Sorry for the sales pitch, just trying to see if I can social network up myself some good connections.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hmmm, I'm good at; taking my sweet-ass time filling out this profile, creating/building things, all sorts of things (really good at decorative concrete as in countertops and such, see octopus picture), cooking especially Mexican food, and grilled anything. perspective, as in seeing another's, and putting things into, taking care of living things, plants and animals, finding the funny side of things and elevating oxytocin.
And, writing run-on sentences.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know, they never tell me. To be fair I never asked either. If you meet me tell me, and then I will have a better answer for this question. I guess people are quite often surprised when they find out how old I am. Thanks aforementioned DNA!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Finding new things all the time, but in the spirit of the question... How about Stranger in a Strange Land and Geek Love for books, for movies maybe The Good the Bad and the Ugly and American Beauty. I don't have a t.v. but I watch Game of Thrones, Vikings, etc. on the computer. Music is all over the map so long as it has that ethereal quality that makes it good. I mostly listen to, they do such a good job I don't feel the need to spend much time looking elsewhere for music. Food wise, I like just about any style, but shooting for more healthy/organic/local than not. I do love a good taco wagon. Horchata is one of my most favorite beverages.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm going to adjust that question and say things I wouldn't like to do without, never say never and all that. My dog, the usual things that start with the letter f, bicycles, wood, my tools, rubber boots, and quick witted friends that crack me up! That was seven, to hell with your rules okcupid.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Good God what a mess you probably should just skip this section, but what the hell truth in advertising and all that. What a strange expression.

AN UPDATE ON THE UPDATED UPDATE I have chosen Portland as my new home, I've got some work lined up and a place that will serve me well while I find a more permanent one.

AN UPDATE ON THE UPDATE (You might as well read this section backwards.) I'm on the quest for a new home in a new city, but likely the same state. Don't worry I'm not on the run or anything. I have given my chickens to a good friend who has provided lot's of love and what might be considered a chicken Shangri la. I am reluctant to admit this, it seems chickens are one of the better okcupid conversation starters. When I am more permanently settled I will retrieve my favorite one and give here some fertilized eggs and start again.

I'm currently obsessing on all things canoe! That's right I'm into paddling! (I'm still in love with my chickens though, but I have ceased dressing them up and driving them around in a baby stroller. I also took down there facebook pages There friends weren't real friends just tourists anyway ;)

Oddly enough... chickens. I got some a while back and I love them! They are super entertaining and all around awesome. I love gardening and huffing compost. I am a science nerd, I like nature of reality/universe(s) type stuff, and weird nature things. May I suggest checking out Through the Wormhole it will make your brain go "oooh" and "ahhh".
What else... building things, shiny stuff, sex, what that weird noise might be?, dinosaurs, food, what is that person/animal over there thinking? Noticing all sorts of random things.
And other things that are......
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't know that there is a "typical" it could be all kinds of stuff. I like going out with friends, but I am pretty good at amusing myself and others at home too. I am generally up for all sorts of activities. I like being on my way to some nature excursion on Friday night, or any other time for that matter.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sometimes talk to inanimate objects, so far the conversations are pretty one-sided so I'm not too worried. Oh, I think my totem animal might be the squirrel. ;)

You feel so inclined. Especially if you are of the DIY/farmer/homesteader/stop giving your money to corporate douche-bags mindset. This is not to say all corporations are bad, but you know the ones I'm talking about.
