Working full time in the hotel business in this city can be extremely demanding. I went to school for hospitality and tourism to enter a stressful (but not dull) line of work. There are many advantages of my job... Eating and travelling are just two.
To unwind, I'm active in sports. I started playing team sports such as floor hockey and softball four years ago and found a real enjoyment in them. I would like to play tennis if I could find someone to play with on a regular basis. I would do golf and snowboarding more frequently if I could afford to!
To me, being "active" is someone who goes to yoga or the gym consistently... Plays softball or tennis once a week. You're not afraid to sweat.
I don't consider you active if you took a golf lesson two years ago while you were vacationing. You're not active if you just watch Sweatin' To The Oldies with Richard Simmons.
