Most people seem to notice my friendly personality.

Books- I read many genres but really enjoy Dumas, Murakami Haruki, Rand, Vonnegut, and George RR Martin.

Music- A wide range of artists....Todd Snider, Lyle Lovett, Joe Pug, Joe Koenig, Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes, Mason Jennings, Ani Difranco, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli among others. Spotify is my go to for music.

Movies- I'm pretty mainstream with my favorites. I enjoy some action/adventure (Bourne series-type), comedies, some fantasy (LOTR style), and recently I've gotten into some Japanese titles (7 Samurai, Battle Royale, 13 Assassins). Not really into horror, though.

Food- Haven't met many varieties of food that I don't like and I am willing to try anything once. I love Asian foods (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Nepalese) and am interested in exploring Middle Eastern and African cuisines.

Family, a goal/challenge, good conversation, personal time, a library, and humor.

I consider the education system of the US and where we went so wrong... then I look for ways to right the ship.

How I'll pay for an international trip on financial aid and a part-time hourly wage.
