My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a creative brained, music loving, bike riding son of a gun who loves being outside as much as possible.
I'm a chronic overorganizer.
I surprise even myself in the kitchen.
I love exploring new places.
I haven't purchased any kind of card since 2003, instead handcrafting them using anything from paper to old books to wood and metal. I love doing it.
I have cycled to work every day, without excuse, since August 2, 2012.
I like really tough hikes.
My home is very, erm, vivid inside.

Modesty and humility are values I pride myself on; I am low maintenance, no drama, and open-minded. I instantly connect with those who share the same.

I have nothing to hide.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In a nutshell;
Work as a graphic designer / entire creative department for a sign company,
own a pretty rad house,
hang out in said house with my pup Mavis,
try to get outdoors as often as possible - cycling in all forms, challenging hikes, skiing, camping, doesn't matter;
love traveling as my budget allows,
and overall just trying to stay true to myself and others no matter what.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Using my brain and hands, often in conjunction with one another.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Truly I have no clue. Hopefully something positive.

I am an awful book reader, one of those people whose mind drifts mid-read and can get 10 or 15 pages and suddenly realize I didn't absorb a damn word. My library is most focused on design, art and photography books, along with campy vintage books.

Hah! Admittedly also a failure with movies. I fidget when forced to sit still and focus on a movie for a couple hours, so there are a LOT of good movies I have yet to see. Lately, documentaries and outdoor films have piqued my interest. I don't even own a DVD player.

Rarely will I budget time for TV, and most of the time it gets left on News 12 from like 3 days ago when I last turned it on to see what building in Newark is on fire today. I do really dig It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Portlandia, and watched through the entire series of Scrubs (as campy as I am aware it is). Recently drawn into The Walking Dead and Dexter, though catching up is slow going.

This is where my heart is happy. I'll give ANYTHING a listen and can find at least a couple artists in any genre worth tuning into. Pick it; synth pop, electronic, bluegrass, garage rock, blues, punk, indie, it is all worth a listen. Love slowly building a decent record collection, and yes, I have the prerequisite of Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumors'... it's as much a staple as finding a wok at a garage sale.
Been streaming Pandora at work lately, namely a lot of Broods, Phillip Roebuck, Jamie Lidell, JD McPherson, Little Richard, Chvrches, Atmosphere, and Roxette (yes, that Roxette).

If you have a soft spot for Louis Armstrong, it might be worth chatting.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
• The great outdoors
• A trusty bicycle
• An arsenal of cleaning supplies
• An ever-expanding music library
• Wide open spaces
• October in the Northeast
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The Statue of Liberty, butter, internet memes, clown paintings, laser tag, electricity, and where I left my garage door opener.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am truly an open book and would 'fess up to anything, so choosing one thing is pretty daunting...

Ask away. I'll be straight with you, even if I have no clue who you are.

... a bonfire, clear sky, and good conversation easily trumps a night at Sona Thirteen or Texas Arizona.

... a weekend outing draws you closer to the woods in northwest Jersey than the beaches of southeast.

... a random trip out to an abandoned rail tunnel, a field of giant rusted dinosaurs or a 45-minute drive for hot dogs sounds equally corny as it does interesting.

... you're not afraid to be yourself and act like an idiot now and again, and can always laugh at yourself.

... truly, you believe the simple things matter most. It's not about what you have, but who you have.

... you are honest, independent and happy as you are. I hold myself to these traits and feel they're fundamental on your own before trusting in a relationship.

... intelligent conversation ranks high up on your list of must-haves and you feel like you're part of the minority that still hangs on to good old fashioned common sense as a virtue.
