I try to read, watch and listen to inspirational themes ..
I find biographies and documentaries extremely interesting , thank
you netflix for being such a great resource.
BOOKS: Call of the wild really had a strong impact on me back in
3rd grade( adversity is no easy task to prevail, but if Buck could
do it so can anyone). Bonfire of the vanities by Tom wolfe was a
good one. Any Grisham, Vonnegut, orwell. I just bought my niece the
giving tree
Movies: Top gun, Rudy, Invincible,braveheart, True Romance , The
Pride of the Yankees , Old school, Billy madison, st elmo's fire,
willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, An officer and a Gentleman,
cool runnings , along came polly, backdraft, youngblood
TV : Thank goodness for Espn (id be so lost) and HBO, Game of
thrones, Emergency (Johnny and Roy thanks for the
paramedic/firefighter inspiration)
Man v. Food
Music: I loved to sing when i was a kid . its hard to list all, way
too broad! I will say anything that hits the spot, all about mood!
Chicago, Elvis, Gene Kruppa , Glenn Miller , Gustav Mahler, Bryan
Adams, Billy Joel, Ray Lamontagne , Five for fighting, Radio head,
Arcade fire, Simon and Garfunkel , Benny Goodman, third eye blind,
the beatles, phish, Jimi hendrix, bone thugs n harmony.
last but not least! food! i dont eat to live, i live to eat! i love
to chow down! nothing like a "phatty" steak!(once in a blue moon)
or sizzling hot pizza with all the toppings in the world but dont
forget the sweets my good pals Mike and Ike + Ben and
