I've lived in SF for 12 years. I grew up in the mountains of California, but I've been a city boy since I left after high school (L.A., NYC, but mostly SF). I have a good job that I enjoy and I'm generally satisfied with life. I like to write. I don't get paid to write. I get paid to play with numbers. Which is funny but also creates a decent balance. I'm a city boy. Getting out to the woods or the coasts or the rivers or the deserts is also fun.

I'm a 49ers fan (yes, still recovering from that Super Bowl loss), and it's great fun supporting the Giants, though I don't really follow baseball a bunch (stats galore!). Going to see a Giants game, however, is always a good time.

Important to me: sense of humor, intelligence, some shared interests, chemistry. Sometimes I'm messy and sometimes I'm tidy. I like a good debate. I'm sturdy.

Lately I've picked up drawing (again)--extinct California Grizzlies in SF, mostly. I'd like to travel more.

I'm driven and reliable. I tend toward affectionate when I'm with the right person. I have, and appreciate, a good sense of humor. Some sarcasm is good, but I prefer the good-spirited sort of play, less the caustic, clever brand. I guess there's still some of the small town mountain boy in me.
