My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love the little things — the things that people don't notice. I'm fascinated by how complex and interesting "boring" things can be. Don't take them for granted.

I have a penchant for the weird, fantastic, and original. I also have a penchant for words like "penchant".

I'm very talkative and extroverted, but my favourite people are usually the ones who seem quiet at first. You always seem to have more to say.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm studying graphic design and the technical process of printing. As soon as I was exposed to the world of design, I was hooked.

My goal is to teach design, once I'm finished my education.

I'm currently working under a co-op term, doing a couple of graphic design jobs. Getting experience in the things I love to do and the things I want to teach (generally those are the same things)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Explaining things:
I take pride in my ability to describe something in a way that makes it easy to understand for everyone.

It's a useful skill to have when you're into things that have names in other languages.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get very enthusiastic about things.
People are sometimes surprised by how passionate I can get while talking about leeks, letters, colours, cephalopods, etc.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bezier curves
Squids (particularly Architeuthis)
double-story lower-case A's
Cabbage (all members of the Brassica family, really)
Karaoke (even if it's by myself in the car)
Good conversations
Cooking
(is that seven things?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Typography and Cooking
(but not at the same time – not usually)

Typography:
I've caught the letter-bug. I can't look at printed words without exploring the curves and nuances of the letters with my eyes. I find them endlessly interesting, and I think it's neat that they are practically invisible to some people.

Cooking:
I'm always thinking about what I'm going to make next – putting flavours together in my head. I love to imagine new dishes, whether I make them or not.
There is no day or mood that can't be improved for me by getting in the kitchen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It changes from week to week, but I can tell you about one crazy Friday I had recently:
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe. . . and well, you know how those kinds of night turn out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cry a little bit at pretty much every movie I watch, even if it's only a tiny little bit (yes, even that movie you're thinking of)
This happens to me with really good songs as well.

I'll also cry hard at concerts. But that isn't as private or as unusual, is it?

I love to cry though. Feels good, man.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You unabashedly love something that you know is unusual.
If you consider yourself an original.
If you agree that being normal is kinda boring.
