Looking for some like-minded friends. If romance happens, that

I guess generally what I like in people are things I hope others see in me - an easy-going nature, wry sense of humor, compassion, loyalty, intelligence, a strong moral backbone, the ability to laugh at oneself, a generous nature, modesty (I know, a bit ironic to throw this on the list), humility, enthusiasm for life, spontaneity.
I'm curious. I want the path not taken. I want door number 3. I always root for the underdog. I like the strange and weird. I like the kids who never felt like they belonged. I love Freaks N Geeks. And Arrested Development.
I'm a news junkie, so impress me with your knowledge of current events. And at heart, I guess I'm an optimist. Which is why I'm looking for love online...period.
