My self-summary
I love life and I love being alive. I seriously get up every morning and am happy to be here. Sometimes I wish I could stay in bed a bit longer and postpone the happiness, but what goes.

Love talking to strangers, grannies at Trader Joe's especially like me for some reason. But in general, I find great joy in meeting someone unique in any way and making a connection, if only a short-lived one.

I'm also a big proponent of education and personal enlightenment. Looking back at myself a couple of years ago and recognizing a difference for the better brings great joy.

I also like driving, and am great at it.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, extending my education (yay Coursera!!!), playing squash, swimming.
I’m really good at
Learning, adapting. Solving technical problems.

Staying in touch with people I care about.

Using sense of smell to determine whether the food tastes good or not. Eating that good tasting food.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: mainstream 80s and 90s rock and (mostly British) pop, with occasional diversions into punk, classical, ambiental, chill. Oh and those new hipster bands such as Mumford and Sons - love that :)

Movies: Gattaca, Ondskan, City of God, Tropa de Elite (1 & 2), In Bruges, etc. I adore movies and watch crazy amounts of them, can't really list all the good ones here!

TV Shows: Arrested Development, The Big Bang Theory, Game Of Thrones, Mad Men, How I Met Your Mother, Top Gear. Oh and BBC's "Rome" - none of the people I met in US have seen that one, and I think everybody should - it's probably the best TV series I have ever seen.

Book: Arthur C. Clarke - Childhood's End. Some atheist propaganda. Technical books. I should read more.

Food: Chipotle barbacoa bowl, Vietnamese Pho soup, baklava. Greek feta and olives and bread and salt. Kefir! Beef steak, lamb leg, pork tenderloin - yes please. Grain salad on a bed of shredded cabbage from Trader Joe's? Any time of day. In fact, I'd probably take half of Trader Joe's items any time of day. ABC Trek Mix especially. Kimchi is my new-found love.
The six things I could never do without
1. My wonderful family
2. Balanced life
3. Learning
4. Good food
5. Good music
6. Sun
7. Caffeine (might deserve a higher rank)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How atoms combined into molecules then cells then organs then organisms just so they could think and learn about atoms and beyond.

Fascinating!

Also, what to eat next. I love good food!
On a typical Friday night I am
Swimming. Or having a dinner with friends. Or rushing to submit the assignments for my online courses.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of the heights and feel slightly embarassed when I see photos of you jumping out of the airplane, cause I know I'd never have the balls to do it myself.
