My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
People often have a hard time placing where I'm from. I was born in the Pacific Northwest (the northern part of it) to Midwestern parents, spent lots of time in the B1G Ten with lots of visits to the East Coast. Now I'm figuring out what's next.

I spend an unusual amount of time doing healthy things (running, biking, swimming, rowing, yoga, etc.). I'm also a foodie, so I love trying new recipes and restaurants.

I own more books than shoes. Don't get me wrong; I do like shoes and own some cute ones.

I am not the simple girl:

I'm your typical INTJ (i.e. atypical and awesome)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Recently graduated from law school. Now I'm fighting the good fight!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Traveling. I've lived abroad twice, and I've been to 44 of the 50 states. I also definitely know how to live out of a backpack…

I'm good at pouring pints, skiing, cooking salmon, taking naps, running, playing Scrabble, building fires, filling out March Madness brackets, and being patient.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My legs and/or my height (or so I’ve been told)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy mostly non-fiction and (auto)biographies (Bossypants, Freakonomics, Thinking Fast Think Slow, etc.), with the random novel thrown in there. I'm a big reader and love learning about the world through books! I'm that person reading an actual book on the metro.

I'm also a news junkie and into politics. So I spend a lot of time listening to NPR/podcasts, watching TED Talks, and reading NYTimes and major news...

My favorite TV shows are West Wing and Newsroom (or anything by Sorkin really). I also love Big Bang Theory, Top Chef, Homeland, Sherlock, The Fall, House of Cards, and the Good Wife.

My favorite bands at the moment are Mumford & Sons, Lumineers, Grace Potter, The XX, New Pornographers, Of Monsters and Men, Foster the People, The National, and Bon Iver. My running playlist is slightly more eccentric and includes Radiohead, MGMT, and T. Swift.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends & Family
Delicious Food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Small decisions that turn into big decisions. Moving the world forward.
The big wide world out there.
New recipes to try.
New places to visit, and how soon I can get there.
My next workout and next race.
How two socks can go into the dryer, but only one comes out.
Who names storms?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing the same thing [I] do every [Friday] night, Pinky.

When I'm not doing that, I'm hanging out with my friends somewhere low-key, traveling somewhere for the weekend, gearing up for a long run/ride on Saturday, or enjoying a night in (which usually involves take out and TV).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Occasionally, I wonder what my future husband is up to these days.

you are genuine, athletic, and witty. You're looking for a partner with whom to banter, travel, cook, train, hang, and explore. You're playing for keeps.

I'm not looking for someone who is perfect, but I am looking for someone who's pretty awesome.

Note: In the process of moving to DC, though I'm not there yet.
