I dislike labeling favorites. I find that it reduces the chances
that I will try new things. There are several books that I have
read several times and will continue to reread for the rest of my
life. And within music, movies and food, there exists items of a
similar nature. This does not mean that I like them the best. It
means that they fill a particular need for me that reoccurs.
Whenever I need to lift my spirits a bit I reread Siddartha by
Hesse or listen to Vocalise by Rachmaninoff
There are also things I can not stand like McDonald's food or
Johnny Cash, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Mumford and Sons (currently
enjoying), Alison Krauss, The Clash, Vivaldi, Sex Pistols, Miles

Samurai, Lola Rehnt, 28 days latter, Chinatown, Memento, No Country
for Old Men, Fargo, Tim Burton, Miyazaki, Guess Who's Coming to
Dinner, The Green Mile, The Muppet Movie, On the Water Front, Monty
Python, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Princess Bride,....and
Resident Evil 1-?, Bond films are guilty pleasures

I found a book that shows you how to make things like Klein Bottles
out of strips of paper. I think this is really awesome.
I just started reading Principia by Newton. I'm not very far in but
have already learned a ton.
