I dislike labeling favorites. I find that it reduces the chances
that I will try new things. There are several books that I have
read several times and will continue to reread for the rest of my
life. And within music, movies and food, there exists items of a
similar nature. This does not mean that I like them the best. It
means that they fill a particular need for me that reoccurs.
Whenever I need to lift my spirits a bit I reread Siddartha by
Hesse or listen to Vocalise by Rachmaninoff
There are also things I can not stand like McDonald's food or
horror movies
