Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Relatively recent Chicago resident looking to meet new people and
acquire interesting experiences. I have a penchant for ludicrous
eye wear and loud music. My only weakness is procrastination, but I
will get around to fixing that later. My hobbies include scuba
diving, bicycling, disc golf as well as most conventional sports. I
have a voracious appetite for sushi and I'm willing to expand my
palate if you know of any scrumtralescent cuisine in the
I think this summarizes what I'm looking for.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Got a job in the biotech sector. I spend my days researching
development or developing research, I forget which. I'm also
working on improving myself as a person. I've started working out
regularly, reading more books, attempting to improve my abilities
as a chef and just change my overall outlook on life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
*Using uncommon or large words in conversation.
*Talking loudly when it is completely unnecessary.
*Dropping F bombs around small children (I do feel bad
*Killing it on the dance floor.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How loud I am. Seriously, I think its genetic because my family is
loud too. I'm also pretty smart and know a great many random facts
(if we ever play trivial pursuit you want me on your team). Also,
white boy has got some moves.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books- I'm into Sci fi/ Fantasy novels as well as History books.
I'm pretty open about my reading choices though so if you can
recommend a good book shoot it my way.
Movies: Too long to list but I enjoy a good story. Comedy, Horror,
Action/Adventure, Drama. As long as the story is a good one and the
acting doesn't suck I'm game.
TV: A few favorites: Breaking bad, Walking Dead( AMC makes good
shows), House of Cards, The Wire, Game of Thrones, Community, Parks
and Rec, Always Sunny, Southpark, Nova, Planet Earth. I used to be
addicted to Law and Order but with help from friends and family I
am making a successful recovery.
Music: I like a lot of different music, the only genre I probably
don't like is country music but I'm open to trying new things. I'm
usually listening to Hip Hop, some dubstep though I'm more of fan
of House, R&B (especially 90s R&B). I appreciate Jazz and
classical music but I wouldn't say I listen to much of it on a
daily basis. I'm always looking for new stuff to listen to.
Food: I'm trying to improve my abilities as a chef but I usually
stick to simple stuff because my budget doesn't allow me to go all
food network inside my kitchen (plus I can't think of many dishes
I'd like to add Crème Fraîche to). I'm not very picky about what I
eat though I do try and eat healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. The letter "E"
2. intellectual curiosity
3. crushed red pepper
4. human kindness
5. hot shower
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
At what point does self esteem become narcissism?
Who is the greatest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
How does someone go about hiring henchmen?
Am I too old to build a fortress out of pillows and blankets?
How many more of these can I eat before I feel fat?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to prevent my Friday nights from becoming typical. I've only
lived in the city for a year so I'm looking to explore and have
adventures. However, when the weather is shit or work has slain my
motivation its all about the couch and a Netflix binge.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll hit the high notes here.
*When I was seven I booby trapped a pie to prevent others from
*I once managed to cut myself with a grapefruit. True story.
*A girl once paid me 100 dollars to punch me in face, the video is
*When drinking I will on occasion sing boy band songs from the late
90s early 2000s.
