This is my fourth year in Shanghai and I am loving it still but not as much as the first 2 years :-) I'm pretty settled now with a stable job and constant working hours. I work a lot, a lot more than I would like to, but that is alright. Not an English teacher if you want to ask.
I still like to stroll through the streets and explore, whenever I find time to do that. Now that mostly happens on weekends and there is always a different area I pick, the constant so far is mostly good weather and 80% of the time a beer in hand. I also love to ride my bike through Shanghai - it was one of the best decisions ever to get a bicycle here and now I am faster than those annoying Motor-Scooters and healthier - take it over the subway any day, only rain stops me. Also since I live 12 km from work it takes about the same time 35-40 Minutes, awesome, isn't it?
I love to be loud, to laugh loud and to sing loud, to speak loud and I like to listen to stories and tell mine. Music is a big hobby of mine, but also writing and trying to be funny. 50% of the time that works all the time.
This was the place where I wrote about a double date I once had. I forgot about it. Let's make this shorter. I don't have time for silly gold-diggers or people that do not know what they want. To be fair, I am pretty tolerant and open to a lot of options, so feel free to make a choice, I make mine as well and maybe they fit each other and we do.

- music (it helps me a lot and shaped me in many ways)
- role models (people I look up to and people (real or not) to learn from and question myself and people around me and life)
- physical activities
- food, water, beer and internet access
I think of Shanghai as a temporary place and I think it could be interesting to walk this walk together for a bit or for long - so don't be shy!
I like superheroes, Justin Bieber, all things apple, efficiency and hardcore concerts. Weird? You tell me!
