I am the egg man and, I am the walrus, and goo goo g'joob.

My Self-Summary

I've been told that I have moxie. I am the opposite of timid. I don't do shy well. I like people with fire in their hearts who speak their mind and fight injustice. If we were debating right now I would win. Possibly because you would be distracted by my fabulous breasts, but still I would definitely win. I want someone to walk with, to travel with, to laugh with, and to make out with, and definitely not in that order. I like nerds with big minds and bigger hearts. If you are progressive and you love nature even better. I love my family, my friends, my dog and my life. I am looking to find a partner to go on fantastic adventures with. My ideal man is Ira Glass so really if you're verbal, intellectual, passionate and witty then I probably want to have a drink with you.

What I’m doing with my life

Making people laugh, running with my dog, baking treats for my neighbors, cooking slowly and consciously, walking in the park, meditating, writing and lots of yoga.

I’m really good at

The first things people usually notice about me

I have no idea. I try not to wander into other people's heads. I read once, "What people think of you is none of your business," and I try to remember that.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love books. I'm trying to read more fiction these days, but I'm one of those bleeding-heart granola-loving liberals who loves to talk politics. So I read most of the authors who appear on The Daily Show and steer clear of anyone who writes for The New Republic.
I love films especially foreign and classic works. Favorite directors include, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, Pedro Almodovar, Joel and Ethan Coen, and Ron Howard. (Although the last one is mostly for the late great TV series Arrested Development.)
As for music favorites include Dylan, The Decemberists, Joanna Newsom, Joan Baez, Sufjan Stevens, Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell, Bright Eyes, The Be Good Tanyas, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Regina Spektor, Willie Nelson, Ella Fitzgerald, Ani Difranco, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Dolly Parton.
As for food? I'm Italian. Not loving food is not an option. I cook pretty much every day, and I am passionate about supporting local organic agriculture. I'm a farmer's market CSA kind of girl. If you eat fast food and pre-packaged chemicals made to look like nutrition than we're probably not compatible. My high horse lectures would start to get really annoying.

The six things I could never do without

For my six things I would like to quote John Lennon who sang,
"Love, love, love. Love, love, love."
Love is all we need.
and also my mac.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Now. Or at least trying to.

On a typical Friday night I am

Cooking for friends at home, laughing over drinks, seeing a friend's band/play/viewing/reading, snuggling with my dog.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I once mixed tuna, celery and mayonnaise in the can and ate it that way because I didn't feel like washing a bowl. I'm not proud.

You should message me if

You like hippies. Ones that smell nice. And if you're looking for your partner and not just your date.
