Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Every woman with whom I have ever had a serious relationship with
has come to the same conclusion...that I am a very rare man who is
unlike anyone they have ever met. Usually that's been a good thing,
though the Personality tab shows me as more arrogant than average.
I think self-confident is a better characterization.
I have been told that I look like Richard Gere when he was young -
think Officer and a Gentleman, but I don't see it. I think I'm not
very photogenic and I often find myself behind the camera, as
photography is a new hobby of mine.
I am most definitely a work hard/play hard guy. When I have fun, it
is often something cool and occasionally outrageous...like, skiing
or hiking in the Rockies or a long weekend in Napa or Naples. I
love music and the only video game I ever play is Rock Band because
of the music. It is so much better than air guitar!
I don't believe in man's work or women's work...there's just work.
Accordingly, I do dishes, windows, laundry, vacuum, yard work,
moderate construction...whatever needs to be done. I'd love to find
a partner who is also willing to dig-in and help make things great
I enjoy working out, both to stay in shape and for stress
reduction. I have a fun, yet stressful job in the finance industry
that it is rewarding financially and I enjoy the non-financial
benefits of helping people even more than the compensation.
I am an ex-athlete that has played basketball, volleyball, golf and
tennis at a very high level and carried that competitive instinct
into the business world with enthusiasm. I say ex, not because I
cannot still play, but because I cannot play at that level anymore.
Sadly, I can no longer dunk a basketball, I don't hit the golf ball
300 yards EVERY time and score in the low 80's and am no longer a
force to be reckoned-with as a strong-side outside hitter on the
USAV volleyball circuit. I can still play, just not at the level I
used to. Now, I'm more likely to be called "coach". Maturity sucks!
I have a strong passion for many things: God, my significant other
(insert your name here), my children and my job...in that
There is no way to paint a proper picture for you in a few
paragraphs. I am looking for an extraordinary woman...someone to
join me in passionately pursuing all aspects of life in an effort
to use the gifts God has given us to the best of our
Also, I'm very new to this site and am working my way through the
questions as my schedule allows.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Tons! Always have, always will. Running a business that I really
enjoy, working out, bible study, traveling, volunteering, going to
kids' sporting events. I have a wide variety of interests and when
I want to learn something new, I just jump in with both feet. I
wanted to know about construction, so I built-out my basement. I
wanted to learn woodworking, so I built several projects, including
a seven cabinet wide floor-to-ceiling entertainment center. I am
now teaching myself photography and the basics of how to fly
planes. I always wanted to have an interesting life...and I'm well
on my way.
I'm just missing the right woman to be my partner, in this wild
& wonderful adventure we call life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Whatever I pour myself into.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look younger than my age and have more intelligence, wisdom and
common sense than most at any age - though we all know that common
sense is not that common...oh and humility! LOL. I'm honest, but a
total wise-guy at times in the fun (not cruel) way.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't really have any favorite books. Other than the bible, I
rarely read the same one twice. I am currently reading several
books: Abundance: The Future is Better Than You Think by Peter
Diamandis (smart guy...undergrad degrees in molecular biology &
aerospace engineering from MIT and a MD from Harvard), Crazy Love:
Overwhelmed by a Relentless God by Francis Chan, a book on learning
digital photography and the FAA's Airplane Flying Handbook.
I'm not much of a theatre/arts guy, but would prefer the orchestra
to ballet or a play, but I'm certainly open to new things and
I like Journey, Bon Jovi, The Who, Def Leppard, lots from the 80s,
50s and early 60s.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There's only three:
A smart, beautiful, physically-fit, passionate, hard-working, sexy,
kind-hearted, loyal woman who enjoys fitness and is willing to
enthusiastically come along side me and work with me to accomplish
the things that we jointly find important in life.
A great sex life - within the context of a committed monogamous
Someone who will join me in passionately loving the Lord, going to
a non-denominational church every week.
To me, this is the whole package. Everything else is negotiable.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The Browns make me cry almost every Sunday !!!
