Intellectualism is a huge part of my life. If I can't talk to you about interesting things, I won't be able to connect with you. People I feel close to have to be able to keep up a conversation about ANYTHING. that's the most important thing, because later on in life that's all you're going to have left.

I am a gadget girl! :) I love gadgets like the iphone finally got one!!!), PDA's laptops, etc. etc.!! Even though I spend a lot of time with such things, I do not like being closed off in my room in front of the computer screen 24/7. I LOVE the outdoors and my dreams include such complicated things as going backpacking in Europe/road-tripping in the US and as simple as just going to camp somewhere quiet and beautiful, laying on the grass and watching the stars.

Even though I may not look it, I love EXERCISING! I love aerobics classes like step, kickboxing and boot camp, but nowadays I mostly run and swim. I finished my first mini triathlon!! 200m swim; 5K run, and 10 mile bike in March 2008. WOOOHOOO!! :) But since I started medical school and also since I got a little injured this past summer (2009) I can't bike anymore :((( So I run and swim, which is good enough for me cuz biking is hard!!

I LOVE SCIENCE! It's so incredible to learn how everything works. It's amazing, it's... it's an indescribable feeling (isn't that line from a song? hmm)! I love asking questions and I love hearing the explanations for them. I love biology, I love math, I love physics, I love neurology and cardiology, I love philosophy (but not the kind that's really hard to understand.) I love life and I love the explanations for everything in it!

One thing I have realized over the past few years is that I can't fake it and I don't like people who do it well or try to. I am who I am, and I can't be somebody that I am not. And you should be too, cuz you're awesome the way you are ;-)

I do not enjoy negative personalities.

Intelligence, maturity and confidence in a man are the three things that turn me on (the first being the most important), and the three things I could probably not do well without. A severe lack of the last two are a real turn off. Not to be mean, it's not like I won't be your friend if you're super shy :-), on the contrary, I love talking to shy people, and sometimes they turn out to be really confident on the inside haha :) (which is still a turn on). Excess of the 3rd one is a REALLY big turn off, and I AM being mean, I don't tolerate arrogant smart-a**es or any BS for that matter :)

I am originally from Israel. This does not mean my native language is Jewish or Israeli. It is *HEBREW*! Haha! :) Lived in the US for about 6 years now. Texas, and especially San Antonio, are awesome start-offs for a person coming from the Israeli culture, but definitely not the place I'd like to stay at for the rest of my life. Not sure where I want to end up. Definitely want a lake- or river-house someday. But it is yet to be determined if that will ever happen. We shall see.

I want to experience the world and travel, and for a while there I've been pretty upset by the fact that medical school and being a doctor may make it nearly impossible. But I've come to learn that, well, maybe I won't get to experience the "ultimate experience of the world", but I might experience something small but pretty significant, and that I just have to make time for it. So... I'm waiting, and planning and hoping I will do it before I'm too old to experience it as a young individual who can still climb mountains without worrying about breaking my hips or ruining my knees ;)

I like to be chased.

I am a second year medical student now. First year of medical school was pretty hard, mentally and physically, but when I look back I realize how much I've learned about medicine in general, but also about my own capabilities, and how humbling the experience has been ;)

I love medicine, but I don't want it to be my whole life. I am career-oriented, but I want other things in life. I love traveling, and being outdoors, and hanging out, and living life so maybe I wont be the next amazing world-renouned surgeon, but I'm sure as hell going to be the best doctor I could be but also awesome in life in general :)

reading people (in person); understanding science; forgiving (sometimes I'm too good at it...); driving! even though I'm female! Yes I AM good at driving!!! Y-E-S I A-M!!!! Don't argue with me!!! LOL ;) jk; agreeing to go on spontaneous adventures (when I have time!); used to be good at writing poems - especially in Hebrew. Kinda lost that now... donno why.... hmmm...

I'm very introverted - but I like to call myself an extroverted introvert. What this means, in simple words, is that I project A LOT of things to the inside, but I'm also friendly. I'm smart. I have high standards. I'm independent. I'm an analyzer (of anything and everything).

You know what a better question would be? What people think when they get to know me!!! :) Or maybe that's a question for you.......?

TV Shows - I don't have cable, I use Hulu. Hulu is amazing.

GLEE!!!! Flash Forward, La Femme Nikita, 24, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Friends!, Crossing Jordan, Law and Order: SVU, House, Ninja Turtles, X-men cartoon, ER, Roswell, Andromeda, McGyver, The A-Team, Sliders (has anybody heard of this?! This is such an awesome series!!), Stargate, Prison Break, Scrubs, Lost, Heros, Alias!!! (that's my alter-ego-fantasy-sort-of-thing. LOL), Smallville. Oh... and so many more!

MUSIC - almost everything but mostly: pop, alternative, rock, classical and Israeli music

FOOD - ISRAELI FOOD IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD, MAN! And basically every style that doesn't have weird things in it like cockroaches, and other weird stuff :)))) I'm kinda picky about my foods, but I'd probably try many kinds of things

my family; my computer; internet; books; music; a car;

LIFE; philosophy (the uhh... understandable, down-to-earth stuff, not those super undecipherable crap); people's emotions and actions and the reasons for them; reasons for things in life (science-things, like... why is the sky blue - that sort of thing); what I am going to be like in 20 years; when I am going to find somebody; medical school; how to become a truly *good* doctor in all aspects; the future of Israel and the Jewish people; the future of America; and much more... :)

Uhhhhhh what I should be doing is studying - but what ends up happening is me catching up on sleep by taking a 3 hour nap, and then feeling guilty for wasting a good Friday, and then maybe going to watch a movie, or out to get a drink with some friends. or... if I'm lucky and I find someone who wants to... we go camping! I <3 camping (but NOT when it's HOT!)

I am naive (but no stupid!!)

And... this is kind of a weird rather than private thing - I can only cross my legs in one direction (right over left). Dunno why :-P

you understand that my priority right now is school, and that I am usually very stressed out. I need somebody to vent with, but that would help me forget about how bitter I am about the school and the people in my class that drive me nuts ;)
