My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am sarcastic. Read as "witty" to those who appreciate it, "bitchy" to those who don't. Playfully picking on someone is a form of affection for me. When I'm not being a smart ass, I sometimes giggle and bounce around like a little kid. This is not to be mistaken for immaturity. I know how to relax and be carefree, but I've always tended to get along with people that are one to four years older than me better than those my age and younger. My closest friends fall in this age bracket. This is not to say that I am completely contemptuous of those my age and younger, I just have no patience left for petty drama and unmotivated slackers, and I find that many of my peers and juniors are still ensconced in that mentality. Feel free to prove me wrong, I would love to find an exception.

Other than that, I am a very empathetic human being. I've become less outgoing in the last year or so, but I am a very good listener. I'm the kind of person that will rarely initiate conversation, but will get on a roll once it gets going. I am not very interested in myself. I would much rather get to know you.

As far as values go, I'm not very religious, and am not just tolerant of other religions, but I find them fascinating. If you're not looking to convert me or spout hellfire and brimstone, not only will it not be a problem, I'll ask you about it. I am a social liberal. I am not very outspoken about this, and am not very political by nature. I do not, however, tolerate racism or homophobia. If that's your bag of chips, don't bother contacting me, we won't get along.

I don't go out as much as I used to, but when I throw down I do it big. I've done it dressed up and in costume. Saloon girl to my best friend's cowgirl, Robin to her Batman, water nymph to her wood. In public. Because the one thing I took from high school theater is that every day can be Halloween if you feel like it. Say yes and own your choices. :3
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I was lucky enough to figure out what I wanted to do with my life at a younger age. I graduated from UNCG with a BA in psychology. I intended to return to college for my masters in clinical mental health, but I am exploring for the time being. I'm learning by living.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading people. If I take an interest in someone as a good friend, the more I get to know them, the more I tend to understand them from the most basic to most complex levels. A common occurrence between my friends and I are moments of quiet hilarity; "You didn't say it but I know what you're thinking", and laughing hysterically. If I'm around long enough, I learn people's thought processes like the back of my hand. This has been a large contributing factor in my choice of psychology as a major. It also makes me a very good friend. =)

Depending on my mood: That I'm extremely quiet except for the occasional one liner, or that I'm loud and quick witted.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have always been an avid reader. Going into my favorite books would last all day. Off the top of my head, some are Psyche in a Dress, The Fountainhead, White Oleander, Ender's Game, anything involving Greek mythology, Dresden Files, Eat Pray Love (I finally picked that book up and it was rather helpful), I just read like other people watch movies. +_+ Also Every Day by David Levithan has the most unique concept of any novel I've ever read.

As far as food goes, I love Italian. I could eat pasta forever. I also love sushi.

There isn't much music I don't like. I'll listen to classical, rap, techno, top 20, whatever. I'm okay with some country as long as its not too twangy. 90s music makes me very happy.

My favorite movies, off the top of my head, are Sin City, White Oleander, Moulin Rouge, Inglorious Basterds, The Nightmare Before Christmas...Again, I could go on forever. If you're a horror fan, American Horror Story is a brilliant series and there should be a t-shirt for watching V/H/S because damn.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Interesting conversation
2) Good books
3) At least one person who cares
4) Warm summer rain
5) Good hugs from close friends
6) Somewhere else to go
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The people I know, the people I've known, and the people I will know someday. When the noise dies down and people aren't around, I get quiet and very contemplative. I don't go a month without thinking of any single person I've ever known, intimately or distantly. What can I say? People are supposed to be my specialty someday. Why not?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing The Walking Dead game (my bestie/room mate and I trade off playing chapters, its GREAT), taking shots in between new Netflix discoveries, reading, playing with my kittens, or having the rare adventure with a partner in crime or two.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
