My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a technical 30ish guy with an interest in the best of our culture. i'm currently looking for someone to share my enjoyment of life. If you've played Cards Against Humanity, you would understand.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Learning, living, growing. For money, I travel the country doing system installations, and am working on expanding that. For fun, I revel in action flicks and good fiction.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Humor and technology; strategy and entertainment. Singing, gaming, and cultural references.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My gentle smile and cheerful disposition. Maybe my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything sci-fi, but I have a special place on my shelf and in my heart for Dune, Altered Carbon, Ringworld, Lord of the Rings, Foundation, and anything by Stephen King

Movies: Oh man, SO MANY to list. I like movies. How about Cashback, Outsourced, and Equilibrium. If you haven't seen these, add them to your list; you can thank me later. But generally speaking, good sci-fi, action flicks, smart comedies, dumb comedies, romantic comedies, dramas, some musicals.

Shows: Doctor Who, Firefly, Stargate, Family Guy, Archer (and Sealab 2021 & Frisky Dingo) Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Walking Dead, MythBusters (go check my photos)

Music: I was raised on classical and opera (my dad was a professional opera singer when I was young), but also really enjoy rock. A few favorites would include Gravity Kills, Sevendust, and about a thousand other great bands from the 90s. Most recently I've gotten more into electronic music, specifically more to the trance side of things. I find I get really productive at work when listening to trance because of the energy to the music.

Food: I'll try anything once, and I've found very few things I don't like, but favorites include sushi, Thai, Italian, and barbecue. Really, meat and I get along pretty well.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good friends
Good food/drinks
Good music
Good humor
My computer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Eight hours a day is dedicated to bringing in money. Then I go home and find cool little projects to do, or video games to play, etc. I spend probably half of each day thinking about technology, but that's really just the beginning. Lately I've been thinking about what's behind me, and what lies in store.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night, I'm relaxing watching some television, or hanging out with friends and unwinding over a couple of drinks, or maybe catching a concert or a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am hilariously awkward when it comes to online dating, but I suspect we all feel that way.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Message me if you want to; it's a free country and I love meeting new people. Definitely say hi if you're a Whovian, you like video games, you enjoy the outdoors, you enjoy comic book movies, you're adventurous, you make or otherwise enjoy music, you're into geeks (or at least can enjoy their company). A sense of humor is a requirement. Proper grammar gets mad bonus points.
