I'd be happy to have an intelligent conversation about that. If you're going to pass judgement on me about something you don't understand, it's probably best you don't contact me.
I actually want to like and be able to hold a conversation with whomever I decide to connect with. I'm not looking for one night stands or connecting with people that lack goals or aspirations of any kind. I'm not looking to add anyone to my primary relationship. I don't need society to define the types of relationships I get to have. I have never fit into the societal norms as far as gender or relationships, but that is a 201 conversation.
I recently became a stressed out Nursing student :)
Since I don't get to see my family because they live about 1700 miles away from me...I've made my own family. According to UrbanDictionary, a Tribe is: "Close friends, group of people who are loyal to you, care for you like family." Yeah, we're that :)
I love to learn new things and am intrigued by strong personalities. Warriors as I like to call them :)
I think of gender as a "fluid" concept and not in a binary sense. I would say that I don't let gender restrict who I connect with. It's a social construction anyway and I refuse to be limited by a label.
I refuse to be content with life or myself as I feel that contentment leads to stagnation and I feel that we need to constantly challenge ourselves.
I believe in the merit of pulling yourself up out of a struggle.
I find human nature fascinating and love to ponder the reasons why we do the things we do.
I believe in questioning norms and not accepting things just because of the way they've always been.
I believe that good communication resolves 90% of our interpersonal problems. I also understand that it's harder than it sounds. But nothing worth having has ever come easy now, has it?
I place high value on authenticity and integrity, if you don't possess a high amount of both, also...don't bother, but if you do...you have my attention :)
