I am 26 years old and the youngest of three children. Pittsburgh has been my home all of my life, and I like it here. However, I love exploring new places and have been to a couple of cities lately including San Diego, Rochester NY, and Philly. Currently, I am in school for ultrasound and enjoying my time as a student once again. I also have a bachelor's from Pitt in art history and fine arts. Looking back, college is where I grew the most and I loved going to Pitt...I have much pride for the university. At this juncture, I've decided to not make art my career. I'd rather keep it separate for the time being. However, that could change in the future. After going through college, I have found that though art is a passion of mine, helping others is a greater passion of mine. Even though I'm going back to school in the opposite direction from where I started, I still find art an important part of my life. You will find me at random art-y events in Pittsburgh or random sports events...I've touched the Stanley Cup! Friends would probably brand me with a sarcastic type of humor...I love to laugh and am learning how to laugh at myself sometimes. I've recently discovered that I hate depending on anyone for most things, but have also been told I'm incredibly "insightful." Most people will get the impression that I'm shy and reserved, but that changes quickly when I get to know someone better. I'm also pretty open about most things!

For now, I work as a merchandiser, which means I use merchandise to make a department store look appealing to customers. I am also back in school so that I can get a decent job to be able to support myself finally. That's one thing that's important to me. Also, I've started working for Mercy Behavioral with their mental health patients for extra income. I strive to be a good person to others, even though it's hard sometimes. But I believe in the old addage that you do unto others and you would do to yourself. I'm trying to grow in my faith as well, which is not always easy either in today's world. Basically, I am not perfect in any way, but I'm me, and I'm comfortable with me.

Knowing when I need to move forward and doing what I need to do to grow in all aspects. I've been told that I've come to many realizations that most people my age have not and that I can get my point of view across in a direct but polite way. Does that mean I'm mature in my ways? I have no idea, but I don't like to remain so stagnant and I like to learn. I can readily see things from multiple perspectives and can work well with most people-I know when to keep my mouth shut, ha.
I can read people pretty well. Watch out, you're an open book to me!

Physically, my eyes. Otherwise that I'm genuine and kind. I can be talkative but quiet if I don't know you well.

Books- Art Thieves, In Her Shoes, The Nanny Diaries, Mommie Dearest. I get random books out from the library when the mood strikes me-mostly non-fiction.

Movies- Pirates of the Carribbean, In Her Shoes, Stand By Me, The Goonies, Clueless, Brokedown Palace, The Break Up, Along Came Polly, Napoleon Dynomite, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Mommie Dearest, countless others

Food- I've gotten less picky over the years. Chicken is good.

What to do next! Where my future's going to lead- that's been a big topic of thought.

With friends out somewhere. Occasionally I will stay home because I just want to.

I have a beauty mark on the lower side of my back that my sister always called my "chocolate chip." Embarrassing enough? And I have a weakness for a guy wearing good cologne...as long as it smells good to me! That being said, I don't know any cologne names aside from the perfume that I wear.
