My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A recent article on how to write a winning profile recommended that us girls use the word "adventure" as many times as possible even if the most adventurous thing we do is move from our recliners to the kitchen to get a piece of chocolate cake.

Make no mistake. I am an adventurous woman, at least in my own mind. I write (for a living) romance books that place highly in the action/adventure categories on Amazon. Heck, I even ate frogs legs once, and if that isn't adventurous, I don't know what is. There, I used the word "adventurous" three, now four times. Is that enough?

The second thing the article recommend is my love of travel. Yeah, I travel a few times a year. Parts of my family live in some very nice parts of the country, so combining my love of thrift along with travel I visit them in their very nice and spacious homes. If you are nice to me, they might even let you visit too.

One day I'd like to go to the UK and Ireland and meet up with some friends there. I suppose that will happen when I become a best selling author, so any day now. (See how optimistic and upbeat I am?)

I'm comfortable in old jeans handing you tools as you work on your car or motorcycle, but I also clean up really well getting all girlie for a night on the town.

Ah children. We are to use the words amazing, incredible and awesome in our profile. I have four. They are all self-sufficient adults which in day and age is amazing, incredible and awesome. Make no mistake. They are a part of my life but they don't overrun my life. And yes, they are perfectly lovely people.

Actually, I'm just fine with my life. I don't need a man in it but I'd like to meet one to share adventures with.

Upgrade possible if a.) you are NOT married (note: "separated" is still married) or in a relationship b.) we actually like each other. As people.

Sorry to set the bar so impossibly high, but a girl wants what a girl wants.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I write for a living. Yeah, there are some people that do that. Mainly I write other people's books for them. Ssssh, I can't talk about it. I'd have to kill you if I did. (Ooops, sorry, writer's imagination at work. Pay no attention to that.)

Someday, when I grow up, someone will publish my REAL writing. And with the wait to hear from publishers that just might be me. Via Amazon. Gotta love the 'Zon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking. Baking. Reading strange glyphs on a piece of paper and telling you the story of your life. And apparently, buying the same color of shoe over and over again. What's up with that?
The first things people usually notice about me

My lovely Irish eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.

Rock (all kinds except very heavy metal) and New Age. (What can I say. I'm a woman of extremes,)
Favorite Movies: (And there are many more, but) The Last Samurai, and Practical Magic.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
high speed internet
cell phone
that's it I'm pretty low maintenance
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The nature of the Universe and the next piece I'm will write.

Why you guys feel the need to put in your profile that you are looking for an "affectionate" woman. Isn't that rather the point?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Writing. (sigh)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have bad restaurant karma. It never fails, the order comes out wrong, something is forgotten, etc. Every time. Its very sad.

What? Not enough self disclosure?

I own an official 3-D Star Trek chess set. How's that for cool?
