My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a writer and an ecologist and an explorer of life. I love my friends, my family, my job and my life. I'm looking for someone to share that with. I'm a bit silly, I can be a big dork and I enjoy a good laugh.
Okcupid says my personality is more independent and less old fashioned. So I guess my idea of an ideal match is two independent souls meeting and enhancing each other in a meaningful way. Not the traditional two become one, because then you have less not more!
I push boundaries with my thoughts if not my actions. I'd rather use a pencil rather than a pen. I balance the two sides of my brain. I'm often lazy, motivated, focused, busy and distracted. I cry at workcover ads and so don't watch commercial television.
INFJ if that means anything to you. If it doesn't just know that it means that I can read your mind.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work part time and study writing part time. I'm trying to write a novel at the moment, but although I love it, it's tough going. I love to try new things, but at the moment that is a bit more inward looking at my writing than outward looking, not to say I'm not up for the next challenge when it comes along.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, talking, smiling... I'm good at explaining complex things simply. I know lots of stuff about the environment. I know how to do cats cradle and I'm good at organising the kitchen cupboards...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never noticed myself before - hard question to answer. And depends on the person and situation. Ok let's give it a go. "Hello"
"Hi, I'm starsfillthesky."
"Nice to meet you starsfillthesky. I'm (enternamehere)."
"(Enternamehere), I know this is a random question because we've just met, but what did you first notice about me?"
"Well, starsfillthesky, I was noticing your very unusual name."
"That's no help, (enternamehere). That's not my real name. Just one I nicked from a Cole Porter song for okc."
"It was nice to meet you anyway, starsfillthesky."
"And you too, (enternamehere)."

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Nature, my family, something to write with, my friends, stories, freedom, hope.
Surprisingly, although my iphone is very useful, I've done without it before, and I could do without it again.
Oh, and I want a seventh: art in all it's forms.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The meaning of life and who I am. And making up stories. And how we could live in a world without money.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm not sure, I work part time so Friday doesn't have any special significance, out and at home, either or.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No one likes this question. I'll go for some personal things not private things, I know that's pedandics on the definition of private, but that's just me...
1. I have a vague fear of goats.
2. I was once bitten by a platypus.
3. In prep they made me change classes because I snuck out of school and crossed the road.
4. I don't like rules so I've listed four things rather than one.
5. I don't even like my own rules so here's a fifth: I'm more insecure around guys than I come across. I even feel insecure saying that.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like my profile more than my picture. You want a true connection, an interesting conversation, a good laugh, or all the above. You live life consciously. I'm open minded and interested in friendship with all sorts of people, as I'm not much of a believer in categories, but as long as you are honest.
